  1. Saw someone positing today that the Steelers are going to own the new rule. They could put Fields back in there as one of the two receivers. He could then run or throw back pass to the other side of the field as the coverage collapses in his direction. Interesting thought to have a QB back there with some legs and arm talent.
  2. I'm going with best of his career. Second year in Brady offense. Emergence of Cook and Dalton. Plenty of big receivers to spread the ball around too. And his number one distraction is playing north of the Rio Grande. I really believe this is the year we see Josh mature into THE team leader.
  3. Really curious what the value of his contract will be. Last year when Lamar held firm, he was able to get the Ravens to the table at his price. Tua's leverage isn't as great, but there isn't a logical candidate to fall back on in Miami. So that does give him some. Would be fun to be on the inside of some of these negotiations where they discuss the merits of things.
  4. I was as shocked as anyone that the untradeable Diggs was traded. But in retrospect, those inside the team appeared to know. Think about it. Reporters were constantly asking last year, "you guys good"? We as fans were bothered by that and just wanted that noise to stop. Now we get to another off season and Diggs starts acting up yet again. And soon enough he is off the team. My gut tells me, it was a combination of Allen-Diggs cooling, Brady's shift to Cook, and Diggs desire to be back in an offense that was more wide open. I think we fans want to lean into the narrative that players play for each other when in fact players play for gold and recognition. Especially receivers. Receivers get maybe 10-12 chances per game to shine. And when that number is reduced to 8 or 6 or 4, that directly effects their chances and their pocket books. I'm looking forward to this season as a season where Josh matures into THE team leader. Gone are his security blankets (Morse, DIggs and Davis). We now get to see Josh become Brady-esque or Mahommes-esque where he elevates the games of the people that play with him.
  5. The Bills are going to be formidable.
  6. @COLTS CHIEFS NINERS @RAMS @LIONS is a 5 game six week gauntlet
  7. In Sept, on East side of field as the West side bakes. In Oct on, West side of the field as it is warmer (if the sun is even out).
  8. He can stretch the field. Even if he is a decoy.
  9. Unless John has access to more angles than anyone else, not sure how he can make a decision in real time faster than anyone else. You have maybe 20-40 seconds to make this decision especially if the other team runs up to the line. But hey, ain't my money....
  10. Rice: Um Mr Veach, I'm gonna need to renegotiate my rookie contract. Brett: Call AJ Wentworth 877-CASH-NOW...
  11. Relieved? probably not. Accepting? probably. I'm guessing that Diggs will have a good, not great year as he will be in a new scheme and division with some assets to take some of his coverages away. And then as he moves into the later half of the season, we will see the same drop in production as teams figure out how they are using him.
  12. Marvin Harrison Jr., Ohio State - Arizona Rome Odunze, Washington - Chicago Bears Ladd McConkey, Georgia - B'more Ravens Brian Thomas Jr., LSU - LA Chargets Xavier Worthy Texas- LA Rams Buffalo Bills pick: Coleman (FSU)
  13. Which is probably why he fled the scene. Likely would have been tested for DUI. So all you Texas legal experts, what's worse? -- leaving the scene of a wreckless driving accident where injuries occurred to avoid possible DUI or -- staying at the scene of a wreckless driving accident where injuries occurred with possible DUI
  14. I don't know whether to laugh or cry.
  15. I think they should keep adding them. There's got to be some more retreads out there that they can sign on the cheap.
  16. My best memory is that he paid 3500 per PSL and had four seats for a total of 14K. He sold the four seats PSL for 11K. The issues may be different in LA or NY, but I suspect small market teams won't recover initial costs.
  17. I dubbed PSLs Permanent Sucker Licenses long ago when Baltimore levied them. My friend held his PSL for probably 10+ years and sold it below cost. All the promises that they were an investment didn't materialize. And the fine print that most didn't understand here was that you had to continue to buy season tickets. If you failed to buy tickets or sell the PSL, it would be forfeited back to the team. Hence Permanent Sucker Licenses.
  18. Hopefully Center is on their need list... Repurposing guys who played guard to be center is liking putting putty in dam holes.
  19. So they roll with Dodson and Klein and Jackson
  20. Supply and demand. You can imagine that most private parking has 5 feet of snow in their front yards.
  21. I don’t participate in the GDT for the Bills. And I don’t read what was said during them afterwards. I watch the game.
  22. Without saying it, he all but said, Josh's personal life last year had a major impact on him and this year it is having the opposite effect. I think we can all read between the lines what this means.
  23. Pretty sure if I twisted my ankle, I wouldn't be doing that to it. Miraculous.
  24. Dawkins has two TD catches.. How about a third?
