  1. His attorney? hmm.... You would think his publicist/agent would be out front first... unless he was recreating or being cited for reckless driving..
  2. This is my thinking.. Buffalo spends too much time building a team, a culture and managing the cap (for long term) to blow it up on trade deadline day. Sure in the early days when they had assets to sell, but not now. I don't see it happening. I can almost predict the press conference. "Sure we had some things we were interested in, but the price and fit wasn't right for the team." ....
  3. Folks you would think we would have learned by now. Beane's trades tend to be no'see'ums... It's never who the internet thinks it is. He works deep in the Bat Cave crunching numbers on the Bat Computer.
  4. The old man ain't wrong. Have to figure Landry and Jones draw the hard coverages, so only targeting him twice in the game sends a message. Don't break him again before the trade deadline.
  5. Didn't realize there were that many Bills fans in Duval County
  6. Interesting move considering they play at least once this year.
  7. Reading Banged-Up Bills -- sounds like Beasley could be on the injury report this week. Sit him for Jax and play Face of the Franchise/Gabe Davis in the slot.
  8. Josh Allen in a word last night was -- flat
  9. Marcus Peters, Baltimore Ravens said in an interview last year that JA17 does more trash talking on the field than anyone else he plays against. He said in the same interview he was cool with it as trash talking is part of the NFL. Wilkins and Allen hugged it out after the game.
  10. Interesting topic. They are the classic bend but don't break defense. I think they are one elite pass rusher away from being truly great. I'm fine with the LBs and Secondary. Just one pass rusher that could completely blow up a play like Ed Oliver did a couple of times yesterday. And do it 5 or 6 times a game. Enough to draw a holding call, sack or make the QB move and take a couple ticks of time off of the QBs ability to work through their progressions. It's hard to assess on the Bills as most of the DL sees something like 25-35 snaps a game.
  11. I heard it somewhere last week that it was a work out injury, so that tracks.
  12. If Henry does come back this year, you gotta believe he won't be 21MPH fast again..
  13. I think the Bengals got caught up reading their press clippings...
  14. Adrian Peterson heading to Tenny for e v a l. Assuming his tank ain't broke, that's an interesting replacement..
  15. Heard this stat listening to a Dolphins autopsy, err podcast just now.. Waddle who the Dolphins gave up some serious draft capital for was 4-12 and 29 yards. Ouch..
  16. The thing that strikes me about losing Henry is how he wears teams down in the 3rd and 4th quarter. That is going to change in Tennessee. Tannehill is a good QB, whether people want to admit it here or not. He has two stud WRs (when healthy). This should be interesting to see the impacts on their offensive strategy going forward. Vrabel seems to get maximum effort out of his guys. My gut tells me Henry will be back much sooner than people expect. People are writing off his season without an MRI yet.
  17. Come on folks. We all know it’s Tyler “Big Balls” Bass. Slam dunk. No brainer.
  18. Well now. That sure takes the shine off of the Titans win yesterday. The AFC is so hard to predict right now. Colossal loss for Titans. Can anyone even name the RB2 there without looking it up?
  19. So I saw the Steelers kicker was concussed. In watching the game replay today, I see how it happened. For those who don't know, Steelers faked field goal inside 2 minutes of first half. Browns crushed him after he threw the ball. Don't often see a kicker getting concussed. My guess is that is the last fake field goal the Steelers try for some time to come.
  20. NFL Research digging deep into the useless stats barrel.
