  1. Diggs is so smooth talking to the press. He is the poster child of the anti-diva WR.
  2. Terry and Kim simply must have installed a money printing press somewhere near OBD..
  3. Cha-ching ... That's got to be the most expensive secondary in the league.
  4. Josh convo felt stilted... Clearly they didn't know each other.
  5. Not twice today.. I bit on the much more believable Diggs hold out.
  6. I really think he needs to evolve into a two-skill player. QB and punter. He should be practicing his kicks. His skill level and contract amount means they should no longer need nor can they afford a punter. Punting is so 1990s...
  7. Josh's long bomb to Gabe in last year's playoff. Heck the whole last 10 minutes of the game...
  8. My two sons grew up rooting for two other teams. Older likes the Dolphins and the younger likes Pittsburgh. I know. I know. My older won’t change but he really isn’t a big football fan. Likes Buffalo too because I do and we visit often. My younger is now all in on Buffalo. Helped that I dragged him to Bills games and “the creature” plays in Buffalo. The day Buffalo snagged VM40, I texted him he picked a great time to come around on the Bills. He still likes Pitt second, but he roots for Sabres too. The last two years have been deliriously fun.
  9. Very cool behind the scenes look.
  10. Shocked at how not shocked I am...
  11. Lamar refusing/reluctant to negotiate a new contract with the Ravens. Sounds like he is willing to play for 5th year $$$s and even accept franchise tag potentially. Image being forced to accept a 40m franchise tag.. It's an interesting strategy pretty much unheard of in the modern NFL.. The QB market has gone bonkers. So while he waits out the market he makes money. While the NFL fans and talking heads talk about whether he deserves Allen/Mahommes money, his value is going up naturally. And too boot, he isn't paying an agent, so he saves those dollars as well. He does nothing this year, he makes 18M. He does nothing next year he gets tagged at 40m (presuming his bet on himself pays off, see Baker's cautionary tale).
  12. For a dude with so much exposure, I'm shocked they didn't insist on it.
  13. Surprised this is out there. I was under the false impression I guess that depositions were confidential..
  14. wonder who pitched the pitch.. probably a European architect
  15. The pinnacle of sports broadcasting.. Hyping up cornhole..
  16. No the most obvious one stated, is to let the other team go first. If they score a TD, then you know you need a TD and will go for it on 3rd and long or 4th and long. If you know they only scored a FG, then you have the option of going for a FG or a TD. Seems like it will always be easier coaching decisions to go second. But then again, I don't know and I don't coach.
  17. How's that grape Kool-aid taste? 🙂 Jerry Jones built his own stadium. So did Stan Kroenke. In those scenarios, I can accept the place and product belong to the owners. Contrast that to NYS and Erie County dumping 800M in only to be charged for the right to purchase season tickets. And outside of aesthetics and more modern bathrooms, how will a prospective season ticket holder know if his seats are better? Will they be better protected from the wind or not? Folks won't know that until the stadium sees a few seasons. I'll give you an example of what happened to someone I know who got suckered (aka PSL'ed) in Baltimore. He bought a ticket on the ten yard line, lower bowl. He even scooped up the aisle seat. As a prior season ticket holder, he was give a few weeks to decide. He sold me a ticket to a preseason Bills v Ravens a few years ago. With the aisle to his left and 90 yards of the field to his left, he had to angle his body to the left for most of the game. But that was not the worst of it. Because the aisle was there, a constant stream of fans would come down the aisle and block your POV. And some people would hang out for a play or two to watch or chat up friends. If they were my seats, I would have hated that. But he was now locked in.
  18. Yep.. The only person(s) this hurts is/are the loyal season tickets holders. The rest of us who catch a game or two, will buy single season games priced based on location and the record of the Bills at the time. Season ticket holders will be given a choice of comparable seats to what they current hold and given a defined window of time to either accept the new seats, choose new seats (that aren't being held for other ST holders), or pass on the opportunity. And the loyal season ticket holders will be held to legal extortion by the Bills and NFL.
  19. Can't wait to figure out the unintended consequences of this rule and which coaches figure out how to manipulate it for their advantage.
  20. The Permanent Sucker License (PSL) skinny 1. If you fail to buy season tickets EACH season, you must either sell you PSL or surrender it to the BIlls. The Bills can then resell surrendered PSLs. 2. My friend sold his Baltimore PSL for very little extra return after holding it for 10+ years 3. The closer you get to the field, the higher the PSL cost (of course) 4. They can be transferred in your estate, but see number 1 above
  21. McD is about as interesting as putting carrots in a salad..
  22. In this wacky price hike offseason, he'll probably get it.
  23. Thanks... Nothing and I mean nothing would surprise me this off season. The WRs are getting a king's ransom and a team like Carolina could pay it and Buffalo could get a draft pick haul. The obvious downside is Gabe Davis becomes WR1.. And cupboard is somewhat bare behind him. Unless they are making a play for Lockett or Metcalf.. Hard to imagine this team without Diggs. But nothing would say the NFL is a business more than trading Diggs...
  24. Amazed the Carolina offer isn't blowing up on here. I don't actively do twitter, but the @rastapasta_9 guy is saying on twitter than Carolina has offered a 2022 1st (6th overall) and a 2023 3rd for Diggs and 'Buffalo is considering offer with WR approval."... Don't see it on the main NFL page and have no idea if this guy is a credible source.. Makes for some intrigue for sure.
  25. Throwing footballs into the net targets that the QBs practice on. Point values for circle size and distance.
