  1. Do people really think solving the "Bills can't run" begins with the RB or the fact that the OLINE has no push? Would taking on an injury prone RB solve anything with how this OLINE blocks?
  2. He didn’t do his film review this week.
  3. In last year’s playoffs Hurts looked less than able. My oh my, he looks good now.
  4. He went back into game
  5. Now for my weekly dose of schadenfreud. I’m off to FinHeaven to see what the Miami DEFCON level is.
  6. Yeah Pickens looked the part. The game was not too big for him. Pittsburgh is going to be fine.
  7. The AfterGlow: 1. Boy was that fun to be in the stadium. 2. That first pass by Josh was B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L 3. Pickens is a legit receiver. He looks really good out there. 4. Two missed FGs by Pittsburgh. Bahahahaha 5. Crazy early sequences. Muff opening kickoff, 98 yard TD pass, muff kickoff by Pitt. Buffalo has FG blocked. 6. Loved Shakir's play today. 7. Josh was throwing 50-50 balls and his receivers were winning. Except that one that Gabe should have done a better job of defending 8. Pitt had a ton of injuries in this one. 9. Nice to see 28 rip off a run for a TD 10. Josh-Freakin-Allen- ALL DAY. MAN WAS HE GOOD
  8. How does a middle school teacher find the time to travel and do NFL games and still get back to school on Monday morning?
  9. Does the new focus on return to work rules after brain scrambles negotiated between the players and management impact the decision? With the new scrutiny teams might be slowing the process to avoid the Tua backlash.
  10. So no “don’t blink” this week?
  11. NYG's if anyone.
  12. sounds good to me.
  13. Second of 4 AFC North games for me. Was in B’more last Sunday. Made the drive north for Pittsburgh. Still to come Cleveland and @Cincy. Weather looking fine for tomorrow.
  14. This was what I was thinking. If he doesn't have the ball, he can't be a hero. Reduce the Najee threat and flood the secondary. Easier said than done, but that has to be the game plan. This won't be one of those zero blitz games though.
  15. Can we just take a moment and appreciate how well the secondary is playing? If it was June 1st and you had told me that Hyde would be lost for the year. Tre would not be back before Green Bay. Benford would break his hand. Poyer would miss a game and be persistently dealing with nagging injuries. Jackson would have a scary career-ending-appearing hit and miss a game. All the while playing @LA, Ten, @Mia and @Bal and holding their own. Would you have believed it? Result 3-1, should be 4-0. Crazy.
  16. I was laughing at Michaels last night. He swapped out the SNF game for TNF. He has chased the dollars and now is saddled with some of the worst football each week. He's off to Chicago for the scintillating matchup of Chi-Was.
  17. man-o-man Denver and that Wilson contract is the definition of albatross... I'm pretty sure Pete Carroll had a big old bowl of popcorn and a sh!t-eating grin last night.
  18. Remember when Wilson balloon balls used to be the prettiest in the league?
  19. Over under on how many more times Michaels is going to bring up Melvin fumbles? 3?
  20. That’s a first. 2 receivers from same team fighting over a catch.
  21. Russ Wilson … sheesh … a shell of his former glory making 48M.
  22. These are two bad teams. How’d the Colts beat KC?
  23. The world saw him skip a pass to McKenzie. What the world won’t acknowledge is that only TWO players were on the field for all 90 plays. Dion and Josh. Sure their defense was tired, but they were rotating people. Josh was running it and throwing it north of 60 times. He was spent. He couldn’t come out of the game. And that throw proved it. The narrative will continue that he missed a wide open guy to win the game. I saw Nick Wright use that pass as a reason Josh should not be MVP. Others will to when they try to make a point. Don’t acknowledge the forest, just focus on a single tree.
  24. I have very clear memories of Jerry Butler doing it. He was the first I remember doing it (probably not the first, just the first I remember). Yeah I'm not buying it.
  25. REALLY!!!!! Not unless we are redefining the screen play. If throwing a quick out to the boundary is included. Okay. But if the traditional sweep of a QB dropping deep to suck in the DT/DLs while guards and linemen are setting up, then NO. HELL NO.
