  1. On Defense: It HAS to be Von Miller. This is what they paid him for... On Offense: Roger Saffold. He has to keep Chris Jones off of Josh
  2. I had to laugh last night when they said the Washington punter was kicking his 6th punt of the game. That’s more in one game than Buffalo has had through 5 games.
  3. I think KC is great for the game. What kind of football would you rather watch? Washington-Chicago (although that ending was epic) and Indianapolis-Denver OR Kansas City-Buffalo? Mahomes is such a crazy competitor.
  4. With the team appearing to get well this week, my question is, is the bye week too early? That leaves 11 more games to slog through without a break. Then playoffs. I think I would have preferred it to be later. The way this team IS getting injured each week, an 11 game schedule without a break seems worrying to me.
  5. I keep looking for signs that this team will win a Superbowl. Each week they have showed me something... The first one came opening night when they clobbered the Rams. Doesn't matter what the Rams are today, that was a signature win. The second one was just losing a game in Miami where they played with significant injuries and weather and still had a chance to win it at the end. The third one was not playing your best half and then shutting down and closing out the Ravens. Never giving them a chance with the ball to end the game. The fourth one was walloping the Steelers and instituting the mercy rule. And now for me, the fifth one will be going into KC and dismissing them. I could have thrown in avenging the TItans loss, but the Bills had a significant rest period between games. So for me, go to KC, beat them by 1 or more and the résumé will continue to look damn impressive.. Championship caliber teams take on all comers and just win the games. So far, so good. To mimic our President, 🙂 Two Words: "Just Keep Winning!!!" 🙂
  6. Hail Mary full of grace..... Still one of the all time best movies scenes...
  7. Yeah... sure makes you wonder what "sickness" means in this case? Could he be spreading something to team mates?
  8. And Willie Gay is on the last week of his suspension.
  9. More likely a Davis to Allen 9.8-yard TD pass.. 🙂
  10. Tua out Sunday against Vikings Teddy "Tread"water may be released from concussion protocol, but will not start Phins going with Skylar Thompson with hopefully Treadwater as his back up Come on Vikings...
  11. yeah all true. But here’s the but. Tre needs to play every snap. He needs to be at peak performance to play corner. OBJ would not be the primary threat and could play a lot less plays and still be effective. Same way LA used him. Cupp/Woods were primary and OBJ was drawing single coverages when in the game. I’m in the camp that says he’s not coming. But it’s fun to think about it.
  12. I’d like to see a Diggs to Allen TD pass.
  13. I haven't been there, but I have no doubt about this. I'm very surprised by this. Nick Wright must be apoplectic over it. He was railing against Buffalo -14. This has to be the ultimate insult. 🙂
  14. Different year.. Different teams. The secondary Buffalo faced early in the season last year was getting roasted by folks. Those guys are playing elsewhere. I stand by my statement that I think the least likely (read not impossible, but a long shot) is a blow out by either team. All the world will be watching this one hoping it lives up to its hype and billing. I expect the best from both teams.
  15. I think all outcomes are possible. What I think is least likely is a blow out by either team. What I hope doesn't happen is the Bills fall behind early and have to fight their way back in like last year's playoff game. Put your punters on the shelf. They won't be necessary for either team.
  16. Feels like we are going to go back to everyone's favorite "in the grasp" rule.
  17. Which supports my statement upthread that they are unstoppable inside the 20. Hell inside the 10. The Bills have to keep them outside the 20. That's pretty damn impressive for both teams for very different reasons.
  18. My early thoughts on this game after watching both clubs this weekend. 1. In case KC forgot what Gabe did last year, they got a stark reminder this weekend. And I don't think it was an accident. They now have to figure out how to stop both Gabe and Diggs. That should open up opportunities for the supporting cast: Knox, Slot receiver (who plays), and backs out of back field. 2. I think KC has a better OLINE (1-5) and better DLINE (1-4). But I think Buffalo's DLINE depth (1-8) is far superior. Need to keep guys fresh 3. KC will try and run the ball. For reals. It will be up to Phillips and Oliver to shut that down. 4. This will be the game our junior varsity backfield gets exposed. Mahomes will run around long enough for them to lose contain. Much like he did last night. 5. I suspect both teams are going to play two-high safeties and force a lot of underneath throws. 6. KC secondary was exposed as well last night. If OLINE can give Josh a second or two more, it will be the difference in this game. 7. Milano has to be the guy on Kelce. 8. I think I worry more about McKittrick than MEH. McKittrick genuinely looked fast last night. 9. KC crowd noise gives them a distinct advantage. Oakland-LA-Oakland-Las Vegas did manage to silence them until the RTP call. 10. I really don't think the Bills will be able to run through the tackles last night the way Jacobs did.
  19. If even then. I suspect it will be Home to Vikings. Starts practicing with Bills AFTER the bye. Gets two weeks of practice in and misses the Packer and Jets and triumphantly runs out of the tunnel for Minnesota.
  20. Does it feel like this week is the summit of the season schedule? When the schedule came out: @LA (TNF) TEN (MNF) @MIA @BAL PIT @KC Bye That looked and felt daunting. 4 road games in six weeks, four on national TV. While I am by no means discounting the remaining games, this feels like it has been building and building and building to this game. After this, it's play out the string. BUT THIS IS THE WEEK. Gut check time and then a long exhale. Phew..
  21. As I was watching the game last night, it occurred to me that if you let them inside the 20, they are so creative as to be unstoppable. The play has to be to keep them outside the 20s.
  22. This I believe. Beane and Company never telegraph their moves.
  23. Holy Crap. Raiders have a chance
  24. Well now. Problem is you just gave the ball back to Mahomes
  25. What happened to Renfro on this team?
