Big Ben is wearing so much protective garb he looks like he is twice his size. Give him full props though. When he had a late rusher flash through the A gap, he casually and nimbly I might add, spun away from him. He's lucky he plays in the 2020 NFL where flag football rules are in effect for QBs. If he played in the 90s, Big Ben looks like he's one hit away from ending his career.

I like Simms because he talks like a normal joe discussing football. Slips in an occasional swear word. But when he gets to breaking down plays, he adds a perspective that you don't always here. For example, showing two fists tapping his head to indicate Sherman was recognizing the uh oh moment and changing the defense. I certainly didn't pick up on that kind of thing before. It does of course help to slow down the play and rewatch it in slow motion. We are slaved to the TV view that only watches the ball.

When he let number 4 go, over the LB and between defenders I was sure that was going to be an INT. To me, that was an insane pass to throw and it was expertly executed. That was a pro's throw. That was next level. That is Josh year three, not Josh year 1 or 2.

That game was a long, long time ago. Miami has really got their defensive act together since then. I doubt we’ll see the same defense in December. But for me it’s more about the weather than anything else. Next four games all have potential to be crappy weather games. That’s what will hold the TD count down. True Josh plays well against the Fins, but late December in Buffalo might he run-first type games. We’ll see.
