The good old days were those that existed in a time when adults did not act like spoiled two-year old children on a message board. Other than that, they are those days where we are best able to revise our recollection of history while being dismissive and critical of the current generation. BTW current generation consists of whatever age group us old farts wishes to put down.

The issue is that the Bills have been at best a middling team for nearly two decades. You can throw on top of that that the QB position is in heavy transition with three completely unproven players, an o-line that is now in the midst of a major shuffle and a coach that still has not proven himself over time. The mix of these factors would weigh heavily on the side of a poor season for the Bills when viewed from the outside. The Bills best hope is that they have a very solid D and they get at least average production out of the offense. If so we are probably looking at another 8-8 type season. Anything better than this will largely rest on getting one or two breaks and getting better than average production out of the QB position.

I was absolutely stunned as the guy seemed to be living his own dream life. I guess the reality was that he was struggling with his own demons. May he RIP.

The only thing that will tell others that the Bills are better is their W-L record at the end of the season. It is that simple. IMO the Bills snuck into the playoffs last year on the backs of the defense. The D has to get better and the QB question has to be answered before “outsiders” will view the Bills as being anything other than mediocre at best.

I’m sure if that is all she needs, she will have no difficulty finding it.
