The issue becomes tied to the family’s ability to handle the estate related transition, inclusive of the tax burden. Numerous accountants and lawyers will get, or have already, gotten wealthy figuring this aspect of the transition out.

Especially if the playing games make it look like you really intend to shoot someone or rob them.

The other day - I’m doing something at the sink - turn the disposal on - enough vibration through the countertop to move the chainmail which was drying by hanging over the side of the dish rack - chainmail falls into the disposal as if it is a nothing but net perfect shot - Needless to say, chainmail and garbage disposal are not exactly compatible. I am lucky because I turned it off quickly and fished everything out of the disposal - about 20 minutes to do this. The disposal still works but I had to order new chainmail from amazon.

McDermott has never been blitz happy because it usually calls for man coverage.

I agree, let’s not read much into a press conference that follows a tough loss. Josh was better this year and if he does what he has done in other off seasons, he will be better next year.

From that angle it’s just hard to understand why Kincaid did not make a stronger play on the ball. Additionally a hell of a throw from Josh under the circumstances. Kincaid could have lived up to his half of “great players make great plays in big moments.”

I do not get why so many people are down on Hamlin. He is not spectacular but has played well. He is a serviceable #2 off the bench with experience. Besides, Bishop will be starting next year. The guy has flashed late in the season.

Ty Johnson is a better blocking back and handles the blitz.

What you miss is that in a “rebuild” year the Bills are very close. We are likely 1 or two players and about 5 plays away from breaking through. The difference is razor thin. The truth of the matter is that the Bills have to renter the fight and it begins today. The upcoming changes to the roster are critical as is the process of self scouting. Should the Bills just lay down and quit?

Every team has weaknesses - keep in mind it comes down to the other team’s ability to exploit your weaknesses. The Chiefs, sadly for us as fans, have been better at it repeatedly. One thing thing Joe mentioned was slow starts have hurt the Bills repeatedly all season - it really hurt last night. I have no idea whether this is the case or not but Josh came out tight and nervous. He reverted to “bad Josh.” At the end of the day, like it or not the game was repeatedly in his hands and yes he came up big a few times., just not enough. Marino also said maybe this was in part due to Kincaid and Josh not developing the type of chemistry that could have been expected. Josh really had no single person to turn to in a jam. JA even tried to get Coleman “go get’ ‘em” balls to Keon and it was not there. Part of why I listen to Marino is that he is objective. Fans and talking heads rant and point at what are often meaningless things.

I am eagerly awaiting his all-22 review. He is generally very insightful with his analysis.

Joe Marino offers an adult perspective on the loss. Perhaps his best quote came via Beane: ”strengths get you to the playoffs, weaknesses get you eliminated” The Bills were in a rebuild year and they had several weaknesses. This is worth a listen.
