  1. Ok my worries for an early bye were for naught. Now it's too late
  2. Ugh. I did not want the bye that early again
  3. Are we running with just Milano in our base set defense? I'm not complaining, just asking.
  4. Any thoughts on picking up Kyle Van Noy? I know that anyone at this point has some warts but I would love to be a bit more secure than Klein.
  5. Is anyone else hoping that we show a few 6 OL sets using Bates as a outside guard to shore up Spenser Brown?
  6. I saw him mocked to us at 27. That he's there at this point is stunning to me
  7. Hey I would love someone who can beat the Bengals and then self destruct!
  8. While I am joining those giving Dorsey some side-eye about being able to maximize explosive players part of me wondered "Well, what would I do with him?" So I figured, why not make a place where people would put in some X's and O's about how they would try use Kincaid Quick idea for me would using him as a slotback, effectively lining up in the slot but behind to the line. Curious what other people come up with.
  9. I'm not saying it won't happen, but I am ok with the Ravens poisoning themselves with this.
  10. Just looking up some different formations to try and I am curious to see how this would work for the Bills. Considering that we ran a bunch of RPO this seems like something we could do:
  11. oh nooooo, we gave up a 4th round pick to get a splash player and screwed over Dallas in the process This makes me very unhappy
  12. I agree that his year is the test. Let's not pretend that the Bills offense wasn't good last year. 2nd most in points is nothing to scoff at. But I agree that once other teams found an answer to the Bills blazing hot start they never developed a second punch. Kincaid doesn't really fit any standard mold. Offensive Coordinators who have found ways to take someone who doesn't quite fit and use them in unique ways stand out. There's a reason why Kyle Shanahan got the Niners to the NFC Championship with Brock Purdy at QB and why he felt like he had to get CMC. It was Belicheck coming out with a 2 TE set with Gronkowski and Hernandez that made one of the best offenses in history. Larry Fitzgerald moving inside to extend his career, the Rivers to Antonio Gates connection all took mismatches and made the most of it. After this year, with a year under his belt, he has to have a second and third punch ready. When teams are daring the Bills to run the ball, can they pound it. When they are taking away Diggs, can you make them pay or scheme him open? If not, we need to be moving on.
  13. IMB is on a jihad. I don't think there is talking sense into him on this. But for real between Gesicki and Ertz comparisons (not to mention some "poor man's Kelce) ones I've been hearing, if we get 75% in his rookie year that makes him the second best pass catcher on this roster
  14. Back? No. At this point I don't think it's our depth is the problem as much as depth becoming our starters
  15. In Philly the last few years they absolutely get Dallas Goddard in the mix while still having AJ Brown and DaVonte Smith on the outside. During their super bowl run Zach Ertz was one of their top 3 pass catchers and people were creaming themselves on this board for an older version of him about a year ago. That's the comparison NFL.com has on Kincaid
  16. If you told me yesterday morning that we had signed Mike Gesicki at a rookie level deal I might have orgasmed on the spot.
  17. The more I look at the pick the happier I am with it. While I don't think Kincaid is going to be an every snap player, I think that there are some really great ways he can be used and his presence should be a big relief for Diggs and Davis. While not a great blocker, he is at least a willing blocker. If he can chip on blocks while helping Spencer Brown (or his replacement) that can also help the screen game we never seem to get going. How do defenses respond to him being on the field? Do you stay heavy? If so, he can beat most LB on slant routes. Are you putting a Nickel CB on him? He is going to outmuscle both. Are you going to put a safety or starting CB on him? Great, now Gabe Davis is one on one. Never mind what you can do in the run game or bootlegs by working in a base set or putting one in motion and overloading one side. Dorsey has been handed a very interesting new toy. If he can't do anything with Kincaid it's time to move on.
  18. 100% agree. No one left is going to be an immediate upgrade at LB. Backfield isn't a problem yet. Running back is fine. Diggs, Davis and Shakir are a functional trio. Kincaid and Knox at different parts will let us disguise 11 personnel plays as 12 and 02 as 01. At this point, the biggest hole we have a chance to fill is bolstering the O-line or prepare for pending vacancies on the D-line.
  19. Nah man, that's a no for me. Between Damien Harris and James Cook and Nyheim Hines I would like to see what we already have unless it looks like a generational talent.
  20. From PFN: Use him as a slot WR. I don't care if the blocking is coming slow, the Bills have seen what Travis Kelce can do one time too many.
  21. OK brass tacks time people: At this point, I don't care if Kincaid can block or not. Know is ok at that. Ideally we bolster the line in the draft. What we needed as a first round splash is something, anything, that reliably prevents teams from bracket covering Diggs every game. I don't care if we play him in the slot every snap, I want enough over the middle catches that it finally sinks home that you can't do that to Diggs anymore.
