  1. It sounds like the plan is to do everything possible to get the game off on time on Sunday but are holding Monday late afternoon as a 'break glass in case of emergency ' option
  2. I apologize. I have been expecting the cloud of doom and gloom. Of course I would like the game to be at the normal time Sunday. But barring that, moving it to 4:30 Monday is better at this point than trying to move locations or have us all terrified that a literal force majure is going to matter more than the talent on the field.
  3. Well...it sucks, but it might have saved you a trip. Be online with us other degenerates! (I assume everyone here is, sorry for those normal people)
  4. Or it could be as easy as purposefully scheduling 2 games a day. Maximize viewership. Now, MLK might be one of the lesser used holidays outside of the Federal Government, but a lot of schools and financial institutions are closed. I can see it being a thing. I have my first one off in...a decade (I think) so for me its win win. I am sure there are plenty of people who will hate it. He's probably quoting the wind warning for Saturday
  5. If only there was some kind of review mechanism in place for plays like that...oh right, there is. It's just that McDaniel blew all of his timeouts earlier that drive. I will save my bellyaching for the very obvious non-calls in the Dolphins favor which are NOT reviewable.
  6. Oof. Still, if there is a week to rest it's probably this. That said, this would be the one game where Rapp throwing himself around like missile would be worth the risk.
  7. I look a small bet at +130 odds of the Bills/Steelers to be the lowest scoring game of the weekend. That was a few days ago. Now I am wishing that I had bet bigger XD
  8. You will not see me complain. Remember that stupid little toss sweep Achae was killing us with? Imagine that with three backs.
  9. I've been thinking about it too. The 2023 Bills are more physical and more battle tested tested than the 2021 Bills full stop. I loved the 2021 Bills, but they got bullied and were more of a finesse team. I trust our RB group, O-line and rushing D more. Thanks for the breakdown!
  10. An all backfield day. The forecast is built for the TE and jumbo sets we've been complaining about earlier in the season. I don't mind some bootlegs with Kincaid as a receiving option either.
  11. Really Huh. I was not expecting such a fast move. They must be certain
  12. Ohhhh nooooo, let McDermott play with 5 DL and a linebacking corps playing out of its mind while letting him rest his CBs. Let the 3rd best YPC offense slug it out vs the 23rd
  13. I mean I am massively biased, as I will have that day off and will be watching my son, but I would love a Monday game. Wake up, do some game day shopping, absorb the pregame during his nap and then be glued to the TV for the next 8 hours with the Eagles game on next. It's selfish, and will obviously bear no reality upon any actual decision the league makes.
  14. Last night Sal posted that the NFL wasn't considering it then
  15. If they are going to play that game, I highly doubt they move or cancel ours. Snow is bad, that sounds potentially lethal
  16. If the game has to be moved anyway, would it make sense to give the teams an extra day to get set up? After all, if they are making the call now at most 69 hours from kickoff that would mean flying out tomorrow or Saturday.
  17. Honestly Monday would be kind of nice. I have it off for the first time in a loooong time, and it would mean a double header with the Eagles game so my house would get a double header.
  18. I mean I would honestly have it in Cleveland on a Monday afternoon than worry about a blizzard on game day. yes it would suck to lose the home crowd but I'd rather not agonize over field conditions.
  19. Dumb question, as someone might know better than me: do the Steelers have a full time fullback? I know Gilliam here works out with the TEs and there is overlap, but when I look at their roster I see one guy who is supposed to be a TE/FB hybrid and someone on the practice squad. I know most games aren't won or lost on the quality of a teams fullback in this era of football, but it's a position whose value is a hill I've set to die on, and we have a pretty darned good one in Gilliam. In weather like what it's looking Sunday, it might matter. (Ask me to go on my FB tract if you like )
  20. I have been thinking about this. It will be harder, as there is film on it and the Steelers aren't going to adamantly keep lighter personnel out there for some reason, but knowing that Brady isn't afraid of using 6 OL and 2 TE concepts with Gilliam as a fullback gives me cautious reassurance.
