I did a brief tour around PhinHeaven and Russel Street Report for some schadenfreude. However I always forget how eye bleeding their formatting is. I mean geez I remember the days of free Invision and Proboards and how do you make your forum look worse than that? Meanwhile TBD is clean looking, easy to navigate and read and has reactions. Is it me or are the responses to the game in the national press kind of quiet? This was a primetime game and called an instant classic but I'm not seeing a ton of time for it and what there is, it's mostly describing the Ravens collapse. Maybe it's the trauma from all those years when we'd get an upset and no one would give credit but man this seems odd. So you're saying he could a poster on here...

Look as much as it pains me to say: Going back to last year Nick Wright has had some of the best Bills takes of national media figures I know, hear me out. When Mahomes got his last ring I think he chilled out. To start 2024 he was saying that the team lost a lot of names but that those names weren't living up to the production they once were. He picked the Bills over the Ravens in the playoffs. Yes, he's a Chiefs homer and a bit of a troll but when I see other national making takes for the sake of takes I actually think he believe what he's saying.

It should also be a reminder that the Ravens have a SB winning coach with decades of being a playoff mainstay and the Ravens fans react that way Just a reminder as we critique McDermott

I don't hate Bass and he's had some clutch moments but it was nice to have a kicker out there and to not have heart palpitations

They're too slow 😂 I'll admit I've had my moments of doubts over the last 13 months but that kind of game was exactly what we hoped he could become. We've seen him do this before so it's not a one off. Guys, 112 yards and a TD? Those are WR1 numbers. If he can do this consistently then holy cow

It's fair to criticize the run defense but holy ***** Derrick Henry was a man on a mission tonight and I do not think there is a QB/RB combo that's more of a run threat in the league. Like, historically good.

Yeah I noticed it. I tried to not read too much into it coming in but man things really broke the Bills way this weekend. It's one game, but the Bills have an easier schedule to start this year while the Ravens and Chiefs are due against each other soon there's a chance the Bills take an early lead and never let go.

Honestly I think there's odds he is a healthy scratch. I was listening to the Cover One preview and right now the Ravens biggest D weakness is boundary corner. I can see attacking a lot with Moore because he has that vert speed

All caveats apply with Week 1 being a liar. But if Miami is having problems with Indy we might be looking at Large Scale Doom in South Beach

I'm pretty high on the young players in general but I think Walker might be something special.

Honestly I'm with you. I'm very high on the Bills young players but they definitely didn't seem ready in preseason. Baltimore is a good team and their playstyle is a natural counter to ours. This is what I'm telling myself: KC just lost and will likely be without their best receivers while the play Philly, Baltimore and Detroit. Baltimore is notorious for being their own worst enemy and are in the most competitive division in the conference. I want the Bills to win. I think they *can* win. But if they don't tonight they have until November until the next time they face a team that has a winning record in 2024 to road test a young roster, and bring back people from suspension and injury. It's giving me a surprising amount of calm that I am sure will vanish the moment the refs hose us on a call

Honestly my best hope is that while they bounce back if they can rack up some early losses the Bills can build a lead on them so that the KC vs Bills match could theoretically shut the door on their hopes of the 1 seed

No. But you can listen to the live streams and time it with RedZone, then once the game is over I can replay it. If I am missing it it's because I'm taking care of the kids and I can watch the full thing when I want that night.

To this point, one of the things that has come out of released NFL documents is that the league has had several opportunities to move to host their own affordable and legal streaming service. Hell, they operate NFL+ and stream Redzone. We know they have the capacity. They don't want to do it. They want their product to be a premium subscription like HBO and conveniently seem to miss how that's going right now Honestly, I've made my peace with it for now. I know I evangelize NFL+ Premium, but I legitimately enjoy the radio stream more than some of the TV announcers and matched with RedZone I sometimes actually feel like I know what's happening better. I'm looking at less than a third of games at the 1 pm slot, and the Bills are a major draw at the 4 pm time not to mention all the primetime. I don't *need* to pirate right now But I'm not going to say boo to anyone who does
