  1. AHHHHHHHH-MEN. AHHHHHH-EH-MEN. AA-MEN, AA-MEN, AA-MEN!!!
  2. There is always a quality that sucessful football teams have. "It" is the quality to win, no matter how outmatched, or how bad things get. It's something the Bills didn't have last season. They went into OT oh so many times and didn't come away with a single win. This season? We start 21-3 against the Oakland, pull out a win. Against the PATS!!!!!! (Sorry, still grinning) We are 21-0 to start and WIN! Against one of the best teams in the league!!! Oh yeah. This season, we've got "It".
  3. Not going to lie, I didn't expect to win today. I hoped, thought that we could show that we weren't half bad and would have been happy with that. But beating the Pats...oh, you can't dispel doubts any better than that.
  4. I'm sure they'll just say that Brady had an off day and that explains everything. You know what they can't explain away? The scoreboard.
  5. We were the worse team. EXCEPT FOR FOUR INTS BABY. YEAHHHHHHH!!!
  6. Well, it's possible that we never beat the Pats but make the playoffs. Of course, we would have to (at the minimum) beat the Phins both times and split with the Jets...and have a stellar record otherwise. So yeah, a win here today would do a whole lot for that.
  7. Brady is their general and field marshal. I highly doubt that it's a lock...but every little bit helps.
  8. Honestly: the playoffs. I can take losing the Pats. (twice this season even) But even bad teams can beat a great opponent once in a blue moon. And then it's over just as fast. Making the playoffs means that we're a better team and have something to build on next year. Of course, they don't have to be mutually exclusive.
  9. Because the Bills getting respect? http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/new-england-patriots-washington-redskins-undefeated-teams-real-or-fake-092011?gt1=39002
  10. I don't know if the football Gods will be any help. Maybe we need Football Satan... Oh, wait, he's the other teams's head coach.
  11. You know, I really don't want to get my hopes up. I really don't want to get strung along, hoping for something that's not going to happen. But really, if, and I concede that it's a prett big f 'in if the Bills are going to beat the Patriots anytime in the near future, now is the time. We are coming off of two big wins: a blowout and an incredible comeback. We have momentum. We have the home field advantage with a bunch of screaming excited fans. We have an offense which can light up the scoreboard and run the ball down their throats. More importantly, the two things which people have talked about as necessary to beat the Pats may just be possible due to injuries: Putting pressure on Brady and shutting down their TE's. With the Patriots O-line hurt, we NEED to put pressure up the middle and ruin Tom Brady's pocket. See what the Jets did last year in the playoffs. Ordinarily I would call it a wish, but if their center is out and their chemistry is off...just maybe. Also, with Gronkowski now released they only have one TE, which puts the kibosh on the 2 TE set they've been running out of so much. Sure, they can adapt but that's one less weapon they have. Well, it's a long shot but I will be watching every minute of it. GO BILLS!
  12. I don't know if it would help this close, but the man is an area local, decent TE. Maybe we play him as WR?
  13. At this point I'm guessing wizardry is involved. Chan and Buddy divine who will be cheap and good, and then summon Brad Smith to act as the moneyball manager. Either way, maybe we can make a football remake of Major League.
  14. I think that would be an amazing game. And with the AFC West as it is, it very well could happen. (The raiders part anyway)
  15. I don't know, I think they have their heads buried in the sand Against the supposed lockdown corners of the Raiders, Johnson and Jones wreaked havoc, with 18 completions. Can't argue with that.
  16. Yeah, I know that you're just saying. But I'm not even going to consider that until we can beat a team which we weren't supposed to beat like the Pats, or the Jets, or the Eagles or the Giants. The good news is that the Chargers and the Cowboys are looking considerably less tough than what people were thinking. But we'll have to see. One game at a time...
  17. And replace him with whom, pray tell?
  18. Very classy Joe. To be honest, I almost walked away at halftime. It really came down to a nailbiting finish. Even if we had lost, it was a great game and you guys can go home knowing that you did pretty damn well on the road.
  19. Ok, this thread is pretty damn funny. Not going to lie. I redirect any and all Raiders fan to the one putdown that matters. The scoreboard.
  20. Well, that's what won us the game today
  21. Agreed. I honestly don't think he's ready to take over yet but come on. He's just starting his second year. He lost offseason to get better. And yet, despite all predictions to he contrary, he has been better these last two games.
  22. Agreed. Already people are dismissing us, saying that we're a garbage team that looks better than we are. Well, the best cure for that is winning.
  23. Yeah, pretty much. The best thing I can think of is to bring back McGee to cheapshot Brady to take him out of the game. If nothing is going to work, I'm going to go with the option that seeing Brady with his face in the dirt, taking hard shots. And not because he's hired a male prostitute.
  24. CBS did go directly to the other game...but in all fairness, really, that ball was an interception. They showed the replay enough to make it painfully obvious that an INT was indeed what had transpired (which it totally was, from beginning to end. Not even close to debate). And come on, was CBS going to spend more time on the Bills then they had to?
  25. Agreed. I don't think anyone want him taking away Fred Jackson's job right now. But compare CJ Spiller at Game 2 of this season with Game 2 of last season. If he can continue to improve, I honestly think that he will be an asset in the coming years.
