  1. Well, they can't even take away that one. WAY TO GO SCOTT!
  2. Link here http://espn.go.com/nfl/powerrankings Well, the rave reviews about us have boiled down to: rank 6. Sure, we're the only undefeated team in the AFC. Sure, we beat one of the best teams in the league to do it. But that won't stop the Lions (who have a slightly easier schedule) from being ranked higher. Yeah, I know I should expect it and that I'm just bitching a little but it still annoys me.
  3. Gotta give them their due. Whether or not it's due to Fitz and Chan, they have held up remarkably thus far. Much better than I expected them to do and I was trying to be optimistic.
  4. I didn't know that waving my arms angrily and shouting was necessary to call a time out.
  5. I agree. Give Chan the ball. Everyone was great today, but for two weeks in a row now he's gone in a halftime and made the adjustments needed while keeping his team steady. I can't imagine us doing this under Jauron.
  6. I would like to see more of a pass rush, but you know what, we managed to shut down the run for three teams. Everyone was saying all week that you can't blitz Brady, you can only force him to make bad throws. Well, we did that and we made him pay each and every time he did. Yes, we got 4 INT's on the best QB in the league. We can't do that every week, but we aren't playing against a passer like Brady every week.
  7. Strategically, it was a better long term choice for Brady to let the TD go. Losing one game is not as bad as losing Brady for the season. Emotionally...I think it speaks to a certain lack of...well, balls. Brady is always praised for being smart, but I honestly can't remember anyone talking about his guts like they do with Fitz.
  8. I was born in 88, so I can barely remember the later Super Bowl runs (when I started as a fan) and I can honestly say that I cannot think of a time when the Bills came back 21 points to beat a division rival against which we were heavily expected to lose. It's easily the best turnaround I've seen at least since the last days of Kelly.
  9. Still WAY to early to be talking about playoffs. But I will admit that winning against the Pats, and then playing a beatable (though certainly not a lock) Bengals and a perennially injured Vick, followed by the Giants... I'm not saying that anything is lock. But the Bills are 3-0 and the AFC seems to be an all out brawl at this point.
  10. I also don't think I've ever seen Bill Belichick so angry to have the Bills not score a touchdown. Doesn't he know that that's our specialty.
  11. Seriously. I'm trying to think of the logic here. I'll admit, the Raiders are showing signs of promise. I think they may just prove to be the best in their division. But I just can't understand how you can say "Well I like these guys, but I don't know about the guys who beat them along with one of the best teams in the league"
  12. I know people dismissed the Raiders after last week. I hope they don't take our win for granted now and, even better, the Bills now lead the AFC East. Overall, I can't think of a better way for things to fall for the Bills.
  13. I'm not sure if anyone has been watching this, but they ran through the Bills-Patriots game. Tony Dungy said that he liked the Bills and pointed out that no one expects the Raiders to beat the Pats either. The other two (Costas and Patrick I think) rolled their eyes. 3-0 (one of only three) and still no respect. Well, we'll show them next week
  14. Oh...of course. Naturally, he just wants to highlight how he got hurt. And broke his hand. Two weeks before they play the Bills.
  15. You mean beside free agency, waivers and the things that have given us a winning team with...how many first round draft picks on the roster?
  16. Yeah, I can't argue too much on a win. But Byrd's tackle? From what I saw, it looked to be a textbook tackle. No helmet to helmet and he led with his shoulder. I just have to guess that the refs couldn't believe that anyone could tackle Welker in the open field fair and square.
  17. Who would have guessed?!? Hey, Oakland fans? Remember how we wished you the best against the AFC East after us. We meant it! Thanks for obliging
  18. It was, but seeing Fitz hold up the ball and then seeing the flag...that made it allllllllll better.
  19. Also, the refs taking away the NE timeout when BB was complaining about...something. Seriously, what was that about? It let us wind down the clock to nothing.
