  1. Gorram it. Can we be healthy for just one week?
  2. I've said it before and I'll say it again: While in Philadelphia he took the Eagles to the NFC Championship game four years in a row, one year to the Superbowl. When the roster aged he kept the team in playoff relevancy for another few years. When he went to the Chiefs they rattled off a 10-0 start and turned into perennial division winners. Off the top of my head I can list John Harbaugh, Pederson, Sirianni and McDermott as active NFL head coaches from his coaching tree. That doesn't happen by accident. Yes, he has his flaws. Yes, Mahomes put him over the top. How many times have we seen talent squandered? Reid is at the least a good coach.
  3. You see when two more more-
  4. Hey pony play is a perfectly normal thing between consenting adults. ...so I've been told.
  5. I had forgotten about this and seeing it again brought it all back. Remind me to ignore Richard Sherman
  6. I would absolutely take 2017 Larry Fitzgerald on this roster Obviously I want to see more Amari Cooper before talking extension. The Bills are under the cap for 2025 but will have fewer levers to pull. Still if Beane likes he sees I can see a 3-4 year deal that is 1-2 in practice
  7. Even if I accept your premise my response is "oh no two years of starting caliber WR1/X receiver talent at reasonable price for a 30 year old WR" But ok, let's recap the genius minds who traded him John Gruden who also traded away Khalil Mack so did amazing after the trade because he wanted his own version of the team (and was fired) Jerry Jones decided that $20 million a year was too much to pay a #1 WR (oops) and the Browns are looking at a complete rebuild with that guaranteed Watson contract a millstone. So I'm ok with those explanations
  8. I mean I can't argue against it making the Chiefs better, and at little cost. How much better? We'll find out
  9. Just as a reminder this is what Tom Grossi put out at the time. It's aged well https://youtu.be/HuO6k5pS47s?si=B8-4VjBZOWM7ZZxA
  10. I don't want Tua to have a life altering (or ending) injury. But if you're a defender what are you going to do? As we kept pointing out, Tua lowers his head and effectively rams Hamlin on the play he was hurt. As you supposed to matador him? Are you not supposed to sack him? Even a completely legal good faith hit could be Tua's last in the NFL. I think it's crazy the Dolphins are doing it and says all I need to about their organization
  11. There's probably a role for him as a gadget guy and kick returner but yeah that's pretty damning. Coleman has his physical limits too. He's never going to shave 0.2s off his 40 time and probably will never have breakaway speed. But I've said for a while before the season started that the body control, size and strength Keon already has can be upgraded with refined route running as he gets experience (and he now has Amari Cooper to mentor)
  12. But I've gotten off topic That Coleman is #4 in rookie pass yards, with (3rd WR as Brock Bowers is looking like an absolute beast, top TE yards in the league) and is ahead of Marvin Harrison Jr, Odunze, Worthy, Legette and McConkey... Look I know he has Josh Allen throwing to him, but Worthy has Mahomes. Before Sunday I was talking myself into 600 yards and multiple touchdowns is a solid rookie receiver for a late 1st/2nd rounder but now it's looking like maybe 800-1000?
  13. Hey! People of all ethnicities can be slow and run good routes!!! 😜
  14. It's surprisingly tough to find it isolated. The best I can find is the game center and the highlight section https://www.nfl.com/games/chiefs-at-49ers-2024-reg-7 It's under "Mahomes' second INT of day goes into Lenoir's hands in third quarter" Worthy gets press at the line and then stumbles a few steps after the release and falls down. Not much world class sprinting can do for you when you're there.
  15. Not going to happen. Cupp is what we are hoping Keon can be
  16. I don't want to get too off topic or make this a PPP thread but the same thing around me. Yes, there are parts of Philadelphia that I would not recommend you walk in at 3 AM with a few grand in your pocket. I could say the same about any city in the nation, but there is a narrative that it's a new circle of hell. It's the narrative that's the difference not the cities for the most part. My parents moved to the burbs a few years ago talking about how out of control crime in North Buffalo was getting and I had to bite my tongue remembering my childhood that included extensive contact with the unhoused, public intoxication, burglary and someone being shot where there is now an ETS.
  17. I was shocked today when I looked up NFL passing leaders and saw Geno Smith at the top of the list. I know bye weeks can mess with things but that is shockingly good
  18. I certainly think he helps. The change doesn't come in a vacuum. Teams were coming out of Cover 2 to sit in routes and as we saw Keon can be deadly on slants. If they want to single up Coop, good for them.
  19. Same. I'm glad Beane has some time to evaluate but he's used the analogy of a basketball team: it's great to have big guys, but you need at least one person who can distribute Cooper, Coleman, Shakir, Kincaid and Cook is a base I feel better about considering the start of the year.
  20. Keon Coleman is a legitimately funny human being. Marshawn Lynch has been doing TV stuff (see his episode of Murderville) and I can easily see Keon in that
  21. Wow. Ok. I had bit into that narrative as well. I still think Cooper *helps*, if for making coordinators spend time on his film and being a vet mentor but I hadn't realized that Coop wasn't on the field for those plays. If anything Keon opened up Coop on that TD!
  22. If someone told me back in March/April that we'd have that effective swap, would front load a cap hit of $4M and be free in clear in 2025 I would have been a lot calmer on draft night
  23. I wonder if Brandon Beane gets headlines like this and goes "not my problem anymore" I wanted the Bills to hold onto him this year. My argument was that however we wanted to improve it would be better with Diggs than no Diggs and less cap space. And believe me I was thinking about that after the Ravens and Texans. Right now? Looking at just how calm Cooper is and how jovial Keon is, seeing them both coming alive and knowing that because of the deal the Bills are in the black on cap space and have an extra 2nd? Yeah, this seems worth it
  24. How does the old curse go? "May you get what you desire?" Tua is flirting with that.
