  1. Jesus these BS personal fouls...
  2. DARBY!!! Oh and these personal foul calls are BS
  3. I literally have goosebumps right now. Gentlemen...to another year of madness.
  4. On my way to Tavern on Broad in Philly. Representating DPBBB baby!!!
  5. Yeah, this is what I'm hoping for. Yes, I don't like our matchups in the secondary, but man, I fully expect to get pressure with Hughes, Mario and Kyle. I'm hoping Rex could rush those three and drop 8 into coverage and still get pressure on Luck.
  6. I...have not heard anything of the sort. In fact, with their lack of run support, it makes far more sense to roll with the Big Nickel, which Rex likes to do. Unless you're considering Aaron and Graham to be CBs.
  7. This is confusing me as well. I mean they look decent enough. Tannehill has shown some improvement of late and they do have a front four to rival ours, but their linebackers suck, their running backs suck, their CBs other than Grimes suck and I honestly see no improvement in talent at WR, even if they saved a bundle on the cap.
  8. Which sounds just about right when you are gameplanning against a team with a history of below average to poor run defense and a high powered passing offense.
  9. I do think it's worth mentioning that in Ault's original design of the Pistol it was a 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 RB formation. Sammy, Woods, Harvin, Clay, Shady and Taylor all on the field at the same time? Yes please.
  10. As a geek I take offense to Prisco being called one of us.
  11. It's Prisco. He's a troll to begin with, is a rampant Cowboy fan and has a stick up his butt when it comes to the Bills.
  12. You...you do realize that is the purpose of packaged plays, right? You send a TE in motion to see if it's zone or man coverage. If they are playing man, you've removed a defender on the run. If it's zone, you have cushion to throw. Toss in the possibility of the zone read or designed scrambles... The entire gameplan is going to be the Colts testing whether Tyrod can work them over the middle.
  13. And that ladies and gentlemen is why you take PFF grades with a grain of salt.
  14. Talk about putting the cart before the horse. Still, I'm alight with it. They don't seem to be taking the Bills seriously, and no one, no one they have at running back scares me after Gore. Does anyone think the Bills can't stop the run with 6 men in the box?
  15. Absolutely true on Rex's part. But you gotta love how blunt he is about it.
  16. It's almost as if Rex and Roman and Shady himself all said "He should be ready." How do they get that information?!?!?
  17. No one here is saying that Luck isn't good or that Tyrod is better. But when it comes down to which team looks better when deep balls are made less accurate, it most certainly is the Bills. If our CBs have less room to cover, that's an advantage. And Luck's accuracy really dropped in the rain in the playoff game against the Patriots. And, as people have pointed out, the early scouting reports are that both the Colts O-line and run defense are looking abysmal. Grain of salt and all, but it sounds like we should be able to run with impunity, and hamper their run game and make Luck run for his life with 6 or 7 in the box.
  18. Does anyone know if they are dropping the price now that preseason is over? They really jacked it up this offseason, but I might invest further down the line.
  19. One, I'm not putting too much in a weather report 5 days out. Two, in the case that it does bucket and is very windy, so much the better for us. Do you remember what the weather was like in the AFC Championship game? That was the worst game Luck has had in a long while. Maybe EJ can ask the equipment guys to rig a bunch of firehoses so that the ball and field are drenched all game. It's not like Goddell can suspend him, he never informed EJ that he could be suspended for tampering with stadium hoses.
  20. Is anyone else thinking the Colts are a bit overhyped? I mean they look good and definitely could beat us. But I keep hearing them as Superbowl contenders, but their run defense and o-line look possibly even worse than last year. You can win a lot of games on Luck's arm and mop up bad teams...but I feel like against physical teams that may be outmatched.
  21. From what I saw, he certainly earned the job. He and McCoy could be one hell of a one two punch, and it's good to hear that Shady sounds healthy.
  22. Makes sense. We get vet insurance for 3.5 M less on the cap.
  23. McCoy is already practicing. We should get the injury report soon, but Arthur Jones is put and apparently the Colts run defense is looking really, really bad so far.
  24. Honestly, I think this is going to be an interesting matchup. I think our DBs look to be outmatched, but both their O-line and D-line look to be in shambles. I honestly think we can shut down Gore with 6 in the box. And with Jones out and Tyrod a running threat they'll need at least 8 men in the box at all time. I'm liking the matchup more and more.
