  1. Yeah 26CB nailed it. You obviously did not watch the game. Marshall made one very boneheaded play. To be honest, it could have been overturned, and had it been called down by contact it likely would have gone the other way. But he's definitely dangerous, and we better double him when we play the Jets. On pretty much every other play he was deadly.
  2. If he needs to rest, he needs to rest. But I'll say that if what we've seen in 70% of Shady, I'll take it.
  3. I agree 100%. I know Tyrod could use some more experience, and has to learn as teams gameplan against him, but the notion that if you can render him ineffective if he stays in the pocket seems false. He might throw better on rollouts, but if you are going to over-commit to stop that he can definitely hurt you.
  4. Hey, as they said a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away: "We don't serve your kind here!"
  5. These are the fans infamous for pelting Santa with snowballs. This year, a hitchhiking robot, traveling exclusively on the kindness of others, was smashed to pieces by someone in Philly in Philly gear.
  6. When do they trade Cutler?
  7. Thank you. I considered putting that up there, but TBQH while they dislike the Giants, a lot of fans live in South Jersey (like myself atm) and realize that there reaches a murky demilitarized zone.
  8. You know, Philly fans get a bad rep. A lot of it deserved. But most of their spleen is vented at the Cowboys and the Patriots, two targets that I can't imagine are better deserved. My coworkers, who are fans, are shockingly civil to me, moreso than I would be to most Patriot fans. And then you have my girlfriend, who called opened one call with, "Oh my god, this is the worst day ever...they traded Shady to you." "...what? I thought some one died or something." "Nope. They will drag dead Buffalo across the turf at Lincoln Financial Field this December!" "I love you so much right now baby."
  9. Well the fire sale is on in Chicago. I just have to ask: How, after all this time, do the Patriots keep getting better?!?
  10. I hope Roman wouldn't go there. I'd hate to have to face him. While I think Tannehill is overrated, I absolutely think that G-Ro could give him the Alex Smith treatment. She showed more heart than their defense did all night.
  11. I will be. I don't have a ticket yet, but I hope to. Check out these guys: https://www.facebook.com/Downtown-Philadelphia-Buffalo-Bills-Backers-130449452834/timeline/ There is a pretty lively community of fans in the area and they often go together. Have you even gone to a game with them? I can remember EJ's win against Carolina in Week 2 back in 2013. When he scored the game winning touchdown with no time left, a blond bartender started walking on the bar, pouring champagne down the throats of all of us who were quick enough to snag a spot at the bar the moment they opened at noon and had stayed for the finish. Good times. We had to move, but currently we convene at the Tavern on Broad.
  12. A) I think the Cowboys, even with their injuries, already have a win on them and we're good enough to lose a squeaker to the red hot Falcons. B) ok, fine. Let's day you're the best of the NFC East. Congratulations, you're the "best" of quite arguably the worst division in football.
  13. DANGER! (yes, this should be it)
  14. Yar. I was going off what the PFT article said.
  15. No, he "chose" to sit, even though he supposedly felt fine. But looking at his numbers so far, he and Powell don't look as potent as our backfield. And the Fitzchan combo looks exactly what we suspected. I suspect we can dust off the tape from the 2012 season opener for the how to guide on how to win.
  16. Definitely. Maybe convert that years salary to a signing bonus. So far, Harvin seems happy here. There are no horror stories, his route running has improved and he's TT's favorite target. He's still fairly young, so maybe structure it like Shady's deal. While I think McKelvin gets dumped on more than his fair share, it's harder to justify that contract with Darby playing like he is.
  17. I watched the Jets game yesterday and it bolstered a lot of my suspicions: The defense is legit. They look as good as us, if not better, and they don't have Richardson back yet. On the flip side, their offense looks dreadful. Powell and Ivory are NOT Shady and Karlos, not by a long shot. Fitz is what we know: accurate enough within 15 yards, but without the perfect ball placement of Brady. Inaccurate on anything past that. I kept seeing flashbacks to Chan's 2012 offense. There is plenty of tape on how to combat it. It's called our highlight reel.
  18. MCL sprain, like Freddy a few years ago.
  19. Harvin is signed, but his cap hit goes from 3 to 12 million. It's voidable but for 6 million. Still, he's the best WR on the roster right now and it's not even close ATM.
  20. If he does, I still think it's unlikely that he's effective as he has been next week. He's been out for two months. It's one thing to be injury ready, and another to he truly back in synch. We've seen it with our CBs when they're injured and we'll see it with McKelvin when he comes back.
  21. And yet, he had done so already on a part time basis beforehand. And we haven't gone three years without one CB going down for at least a few games so it was smart even before the injuries/position switches.
  22. Yeah I remember being shocked, but it looked like great value. And then McKelvin hurt himself again. Now it looks brilliant.
  23. It's not just this year. As I've seen repeatedly pointed out, the Dolphins have been constantly "winning" free agency every year Philbin has been in Miami and is yet to post a winning record while the FO has them in salary cap hell.
  24. What? Clearly I heard that Taylor waa just dreadful, and couldn't throw from the pocket and never ever could get better.
  25. We have him, but his salary skyrockets to 9 million a year for the next to years, and is voidable. I don't think we can restructure until the offseason. But right now, he's definitely looking worth it.
