  1. I think safety is an underrated position, but I'm seeing gaping holes on the line, Glenn and Incognito about to be free agents, Woods about go into a contract year and Harvin not looking worth 9 million a year.
  2. The Jets were always looking beatable if you watched them play. They just had the absurd luck to face the Colts one week after we hurt luck and gave them the blueprint and played cupcake teams to get 4 wins. Every time they've played a half decent team (Eagles and Raiders) they found their teeth kicked in during the first half.
  3. Tyrod participating fully is a good sign. Any word on Karlos? If he's back then we finally, finally FINALLY have the thunder and lighting back together.
  4. Yeah, I really hope Graham is just getting a rest day but it's great to see all those offensive players getting back, just in time for probably the most important run of the season.
  5. Anyone know when the press conference will be?
  6. I try not to root for injuries, especially as snake bitten as we are right now. But I'm glad Wake is not lining up versus us next week.
  7. Look, I liked the EJ pick. I think that, maybe if handled differently EJ would be his draft's version of Bortles, who is still absolutely working out the kinks but has shown steady improvement. But I can't think of a better microcosm of EJ's career than the Jaguars game. You see flashes of greatness, beautiful throws, and when he's on, he's on. Whenever he isn't, you see what you saw where you handed 20 points off turnovers in three straight series. Tyrod, admittedly working on a small sample size, rarely makes the Big Mistake. He isn't always perfect, and seems to play injured plenty, but he typically makes smart decisions as a passer, even if his accuracy can be off at times. He has 8 YPA, and has a better than 2:1 touchdown to interception ratio. He is undeniably playing the best of any QB on our roster right now.
  8. What am I rooting for? The meteor to hit. More seriously, the Pats to win, but take enough of a pounding that we beat them in a few weeks.
  9. Let's see the Jets play a halfway decent team first.
  10. We still have Shady! He's looking much, MUCH better today.
  11. We got killed on field position early. Time to flip the script and have one of our 2nd half comebacks.
  12. And he had McCoy open for the first...
  13. It makes sense that Shady is on a pitch count. Hopefully we draw up some good plays to get him to the second level.
  14. Without Watkins to prevent teams from doubling Harvin and when you're down to your 4th string RB carrying the load, you're going to have down games. That said, yeah, if EJ plays lights out it certainly makes the case to rest Taylor another week vs Jax.
  15. I *highly* doubt that they make the decision over one game, especially with the numbers Taylor put up in Weeks 1-4.
  16. Well Harvin is likely to sit. I think that jives with what we've been hearing.
  17. If that's the case I wouldn't be shocked of EJ is up today. Tyrod's chemistry is best with Harvin, and EJ is best with Goodwin and Woods, and decent with Sammy.
  18. I am a little stunned at a small section of Titans fans who think this stole the game away from them. Tyrod already had the first, the rest was gravy. The call on Graham on the other hand...
  19. Good pickup on the center. Hopefully Dareus comes to rock out. I do agree that, for the most part, on this board we try to research the other teams we face and take more than a cursory glance.
  20. I'm on the side that they have a right to be confident. They have looked good on both sides of the ball, and Dalton is having a career season. Eifert is finally playing as expected and Green and Sanu are legit. Still, this is our house and Shady returning tells me the Bills know how serious this game is. For the Bengals, this is an out of division game when they have a huge lead within it. For the Bills it's scratching and clawing to get as many wins as they can to not get left behind.
  21. To me, the number a drinks that he had, and when he had them doesn't bother me. What does is the fact that rehab failed so quickly. I was never a huge fan of his last year, and I wasn't the one calling for Johnny time this offseason. I do worry that he's off the wagon so soon when there was a legit chance he might start.
  22. Huh...it's almost like sticking with young, developmental QB who has all the physical tools through rough patches and not yanking him the moment he makes a mistake means that he can improve...weird. Though it should be noted that he is also the beneficiary of playing a blowout prevent defense vs NE, Dolphins, Colts and Bucs...
