  1. I'm not even sure about that. Yes, the Dolphins have better WRs but their Oline was shaky last year and looks weaker this year. They lost a lot of defensive players and are doing the same shuffle as the Bills. Now, they can win playing at home on short week with the Bills banged up. But if the Cardinals offense is the one the Bills have the toughest stylistically the Dolphins are what the Bills are made to squish
  2. You're not the only one who thought it. Yes, Worthy has an incredible spark. But so far it's been on a gadget play and a blown coverage while Rasheed Rice was picking the Ravens apart. I'm not trying to diminish the threat he is and can be. But those kinds of opportunities fade as people get tape on a guy. Route running, size mismatches and contested catch ability is harder to game plan for each week. Who knows what's in store long term but I'm happy with Coleman so far.
  3. NFL+ Premium got me the radio broadcast and Red Zone. Apart from occasionally spoiling me on big plays it synched ok and it was for much much MUCH cheaper than ST
  4. I can't really throw shade at Brady when they put up 34 points while pulling close to even on TOP after a 3:1 time and 14 point hole, especially after so few starters played together in preseason
  5. That's along what I was thinking. Yes, Worthy got the splash play TDs but they were on a trick play end around and a busted coverage. I haven't yet seen the nuances to be a WR at the highest level there Coleman's routes and body positions was perfect
  6. Cover 1 did a matchup episode about how big the loss of Milano was and how much the Cardinals offense is being built to attack aggressive nickel defenses like McDermott runs. They were running out 3 TE sets there. I don't care how good your CB group is that is a way to make mismatches. The way Brady turned things around was abandoning the "contain Murray runs" approach that was letting him pick apart the zone was exploiting a weak O line with blitzes and taking his chances on getting burned with man. With less time Murray took his and the Bills defense allowed 3 points in the second half
  7. I also want to point out the two penalties he drew which were instant first downs. He has such a mismatch the only way to slow him was blatant penalties
  8. I'll do a longer writeup later but I went with the streaming radio broadcast through NFL+ and watching Red zone on mute and let me tell you what I got on formations and trends in commentary was leaps and bounds better than what I get on TV broadcast
  9. Maybe but the Cards matchup is a rough one for the way McDermott likes to run defenses. The weakness of zones is the holes it leaves. Big bodied TEs eat and the Cards were rolling out three of them. It's not a coincidence that the improvement came when Babich switch to more aggressive blitzing and more man coverage in the second half.
  10. Complete calm and confidence the whole time
  11. I get the desire to see Coleman to do well but at least early on I think his best bet will be red zone. I can see him going off there
  12. This year really is a big experiment. I wish we weren't playing with so many variables but here we are. But come on I'm not missing this for the world
  13. I think that makes all of us. I am bullish and part of me thinks that the less we put in tape of what he can do the better because I think Brady is going to use him all over the field. But we just.. haven't seen it yet
  14. Buffalo pizza is something I miss the crap out of. So I've got some Battistoni pepperoni, made some pizza dough and am going to shred a block of whole milk low moisture mozzarella
  15. To be honest my reaction from the game is that the Ravens are having the same problems the Bills are expecting. Hopefully we sort them out faster
  16. Ravens, for two reasons: One I actually like the franchise. For a bunch of drought years I saw them as the model the Bills should aspire to: tough D, strong run game and an adequate QB. In general I don't find them obnoxious (except for the Lamar MVP truthers) so I often root for them in principle. Two, F the Chiefs
  17. Hey we got a YOLO sighting!
  18. I don't know man, four straight conference championships and a Super Bowl appearance was pretty darn good, never mind getting what he did out of Alex Smith. He has his flaws, but Andy Reid has arguably the strongest NFL coaching trees of this generation. Now as to the articles content I'm with Spencer Brown. One of the most demoralizing things I've seen in corporate culture is when some VP gets a hot nut for some idea. It won't work. You know it won't work. You break your back trying to make it work against all odds but when it doesn't it's rarely the VP in the cross hairs it's you for not delivering on this nut's delusions. I know football is different but I understand the sentiment.
  19. This reminds me A LOT of this piece about how Ben Johnson got a turnaround from Jared Goff https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&opi=89978449&url=https://www.theringer.com/nfl/2023/8/14/23830935/how-detroit-lions-offensive-coordinator-ben-johnson-fixed-jared-goff&ved=2ahUKEwiyyeHisqqIAxVEFFkFHQvABN0QFnoECCUQAQ&usg=AOvVaw2qHv8BZdRHkBSW5BTC9ysi
  20. I am definitely staying far away from the spread. I think the Bills take it but I would not rely on winning by a TD
  21. I don't know exactly how Patriots vs. Bengals became such a draw. yarr time to be navigatin' the backwater streams
  22. Hey I think it's nice that they included all of their fans in the video too. That scorpion is probably their only season ticket holder.
  23. Here is why I am pissed: -I poopoo-ed the idea of Diggs being a diva from 2020 up until a month or two ago. -I blamed Josh for not throwing it to Diggs and instead targeting Shakir in the last Chiefs game. -I defended his level of play saying that even if he was dropping off it made more sense to add to his supporting cast -I was adamant that restructuring Diggs should be our way forward. I was willing to bet the farm he'd be here in 2024. So when he leaves and takes a swipe at Bills fans on the way out and now reveals that he forced his way out because he was worried about his target share because he wants to hit HOF numbers? Ok that gets to me
  24. I find it interesting that Shakir is designated as the only slot. I suspect we see more of him than just that.
