  1. Nice. I tried to do streaming, only to be told I couldnt. I was going to do gamepass anyway, because the tolls alone to go to the bar each week would be close to breaking even. I think I'll give this a look. I have no issue with paying the NFL to watch their content. I'm just annoyed that they insist on restrictions that prevent people from access.
  2. I heard, but I doubt it. A lot of players feel they have something left in the tank. He might have a little, but I don't see people falling over themselves. The man was wise with his money. He should enjoy his retirement.
  3. It looks like Hughes and Kyle are getting lined up one on one vs a pair of rookies in their first game. That said, Stanley looks legit, but Shaq was beating him pretty bad in that matchup. I think if the Bills can exploit blitzes on Flacco's weak side, they could give him a bad day.
  4. That's what makes the most sense to me. Otherwise why do this now?
  5. I know we have a final score one, so merge if necessary, but I would like to hear guesses on the offense. I think Tyrod has a rough day in pass protection, but scampers for a big run and connects deep on a couple of passes. I think the run game struggles with consistency but with Dumervil out, Suggs in his first game back from an Achilles and the Glenn/Incognito blocking on the edge Shady breaks out some monster gains. Tyrod: 18/25, ~200 yards passing, 2 TD, ~35 yards rushing. Sammy: ~100 yards, 1 TD McCoy: 75-100 yards, 1 TD
  6. When it comes to Sammy, I am not worried. The timeline, even on the worst case scenario had him back week 1. That he only missed a week or 2 of training camp does not bother me. But yeah, I am a bit worried about Goodwin making it the full year.
  7. Couple things: One, Sammy is a borderline superstar. That can bail you out of a lot. Two, with a good system, you can have an offense more than the sum of its parts. Chip Kelly's first year is a good example. With a (hopefully) healthy Goodwin, you can finally again have two big speed threats on the outside. Tyrod's greatest strength is with the deep ball. If you can stretch the vertical on both sides, that really opens things up for Clay, Woods and Shady. Shady has looked lethal in the short passing game.
  8. I'm also remembering the Bears game I'm 2015. "Most talented WR Triplet is football! Matt Forte I'm the backfield! This is the year Jay Cutler proves himself!"
  9. I don't think we should underestimate Perriman, Smith and Wallace. But Darby, Gilmore and Seymour should be good enough to handle it without too much safety help. Pitta? Decent, but not game breaking.
  10. I was reading one of the articles from ESPN about how Flacco doesn't expect Rex to blitz him more to see if his knee holds up. That's kind of a dick move to even mention, but they also bring up that Flacco is 31st in the league vs the blitz in the last three years. And they are starting two rookies on the left with Kyle and Hughes. If there is ever a reason to blitz, it's there.
  11. Oh, I like our CBs. But the Ravens had a lot of success last year using TEs and RBs I'm the passing game. (I'm going off what I remember from Turners article). Perriman and Wallace can stretch deep, so I want as much help for our LBS as possible.
  12. Oh, it definitely is. More than Smith. But if Smith is out, their air threat is much more manageable.
  13. Like people have mentioned, mobile apps do not play the game. And for me, the streaming sites do not work well on my computer, only giving me plays three series later. However, this year, i think I'm trying the audio streams they use on NFL rewind.
  14. Per link, Dumervill hasn't practiced since the 22nd. The man is elite. That would make a difference
  15. To be fair, it was true at least through the midpoint of last year. I remember someone breaking down Taylor's TD pass to Karlos in the Jets game, and he waited until he saw Karlos coming free. Now, more time as a starter can help, but a lot of people never make the jump. Taylor still has ways to buy time to help with that, and that he does helps with his really low INT count.
  16. I mostly agree. I just worry about the pass rush with no Dareus or Shaq. I was worrying more with Forsett there to gash the middle if they had a healthy Smith, Perriman and Wallace to spread and stretch. Forsett gone? Makes me feel a lot better. And there goes my calm...still, that's a hell of a bargaining position to try to be in.
  17. They felt good enough about Perriman to put him in preseason. Steve Smith is a wild card. My Ravens fan friend raves about him, but he's what, 37? Coming off a double Achilles? There's "ready" Week 1, and being back to your former self.
  18. I am shocked at the Forsett cut. I've been worried about their ability to run when they have burners like Wallace and Perriman. I'll take it!
  19. Just for reference, I have been listening to Philly sports radio the past few weeks. To them, the idea of a successful season was Bradford playing well enough to get a 3rd or 4th round pick, maybe a 2nd if they were lucky. To get a first and conditional fourth is way, way, way beyond what anyone expected to get for him.
