Exactlt my worry. In 2015 and 2016 we saw back to back years of QBs going 1 and 2 overall. None of those teams have made the playoffs. Goff struggled to get on the field, and we saw where Wentz is. A rookie QB early is not a cureall. Even the best cases were where you threw Carr in and let him rough it out for a few years, or Dak, where he had one of the best o-line in the league and a stud rusher. You don't get that with one year of tanking.
