  1. Not me, but I am pleasantly surprised at the number of Bills fans I run into in around Philadelphia/South Jersey
  2. I remember I had serious interest in him. The problem IIRC wasn't his talent so much that he had to serve at least two years in the Air Force. He definitely would he worth a gamble.
  3. I will I'm wrong. But even if it doesn't result in criminal charges, it's done it's job. We already know that Trumps son and campaign manager met with Russian assets to obtain dirt on his political appointment, and then lied about it. We know he asked Russia to compromise national security by hacking on live TV, and then they did, and then his political fixer has been arrested firin touch with Wikileaks and A) promised more damaging emails and B) threatening a witness not to testify. His personal lawyer and campaign manager have been convicted of felonies. And that isn't even counting the resulting investigation in SDNY for fraud and embezzlement in the inaugural committee. For anyone else, the stench of graft and slime would kill their career. But some people eat it up. Mueller has been more effective at draining the swamp than Trump...who has done everything to make it swampier.
  4. ...you know, I said something about Miami making smarter moves. Hahaha I am happy to be proven wrong!
  5. Before watching Allen play, I was firmly on the "stats dont lie" camp. Watching him develop, I've changed my mind. I can see the places where bad penalties, drops and an in general lack of talent killed drives when he was on a roll or killed what would have been a big play. That is not to say that he is without flaws, but a lot of the criticism is made without watching the play.
  6. I absolutely loath saying this: I think the Dolphins might have learned their lesson. They've spent recent memory trying to turn things around with the big splash acquisition and robbing Peter to pay Paul to manage the salary cap while they look for a quick fix. And it has led to them being a more dysfunctional organization than us. I don't want them to learn their lesson.
  7. I also was on the "I wanted JP to be the man" crowd. I think today is a nice reminder that, as overhyped as we get about Pro Days, maybe we should take a step back and think about how things will look while the bullets are flying.
  8. Can you imagine that D-line? That would hopefully settle the defense for a few years, and let us truly take BPA every year. (Assuming Allen continues to grow)
  9. Like I said. There are plenty of ways to package a one year deal as effectively 2 by assigning a signing bonus and making the first year guaranteed, with the expectation that unless he impresses he'll be cut for a minor cap hit the next year.
  10. FWIW, WF had him as a solid FA option. http://walterfootball.com/freeagents2019OT.php I am assuming that the deal is heavily frontloaded with little guarantee on the back end.
  11. Well, I'm actually ok with it. The Jets have consistently thrown themselves into cap hell over the past few years, and that much for Bell is just stupid money. That would become an albatross for them as they try to A) sign Darnold to a long term contact and B) sign players to make Darnold competent. I was considered a homer when I said that I liked the money we gave for Shady, and now that looks laughably small in comparison.
  12. I agree that it's WAAAAAAAY too early to start making assumptions on what we would take. But I have seen a lot of mocks having us take Ed Oliver at 9, and that was before we filled in some gaps on C, TE and WR.
  13. As much as I am excited and surprised by the Beasley signing, I think I might like the implications of this pickup more. Robert Foster was a great unexpected pickup, but it would be asking too much for him to be a #1 outside guy. If you can park Brown and Foster on the outside, and let Beasley and Zay hit the short and intermediate routes that ought to open up a lot for Allen. And I still would not rule out taking someone in the 1st if we trade back, or early in the second.
  14. Hey, I get your point! It's great to have picked up both!
  15. Cue the PPP crowd for hating him for being too liberal
  16. Sorry for the flat reaction, but I really didn't see it coming. He's a great safety valve option, and between him and Brown, and all of the other hole plugging, I honestly think we actually can take BPA at 9 (Would love another WR in the top 2 rounds, but no need to stretch)
  17. Ahahaha....right Oh God, you were serious. Pray tell what were you right about? Best I've seen you found one government official who has a different opinion Though how on Earth people coming in from South America instead of Mexico changes the discussion sounds like the dumbest distinction ever. I'll take solace in broad stats. Also...you keep failing to prove that sex trafficking would be impacted with any kind of hard data. Again.
  18. Hah! But the longer we deny The Plan, the more my lizard overlords can move into position! Or...I could think that...it might be better to fund our intelligence agencies and local law enforcement as a more efficient method to solve a problem. I dont know, that seems like woolly liberal thinking.
  19. It's cool, anyone who isn't in absolute lockstep with GEOUS Trump is clearly a Deep State agent or a brainwashed NPC who only can parrot spoon fed talking points beamed into our heads by Rachel Maddow. Didn't you get the brain implant memo?
