  1. Yeah if anything that should make us take this with a grain of salt
  2. Coleman was already at 0. It was nice of you to spot him that lead 😁 But seriously I had concerns on draft night that at this point seem to be lain to rest. If the ceiling is high level #2WR that's still a major asset. Let's see if he can stand as a #1
  3. Yep. Not only did he force his way out, he agreed to have the last two years of his contract shaved off. I don't need to celebrate his injury to think that the Bills dodged a bullet by getting what they could for him before an injury like this happened on their watch
  4. McDaniel has shown some ingenuity in how he does it, but 90% of pass concepts are "Waddle Go Route to stretch the field, Hill motion out of the backfield or crossing route, Tua throws in under 3 seconds" If one of those things ain't happening it's been a trainwreak
  5. There's nothing I've seen or heard from the Dolphins in the intervening 6 weeks that's told me that the Bills need to radically change their game plan from Week Two. Let the Dolphins invest in stopping the run, then start hitting them on screens and play action. Keep long sustained drives, force Hill and Waddle to work for it, do what you can to limit to damage on runs
  6. It's hard for me to think about a rematch here. I know the Dolphins are a bit different but the structural similarities are still about the same so in my mind I have to give an edge to the Bills at home with a healthy TJ plus Cooper
  7. I mean we could even argue that with the way the market has been skyrocketing that getting in a year early helps long term
  8. "We didn't know for 9 months then we figured out in was an ACL tear. Wild huh? We thought he might be pregnant. Man our doctors suck" That's what happened with Von in 2022
  9. For what it's worth, there's a Japanese place on the same block as my work, which is rubbing right up against Camden NJ. They've made the regional James Beard list three times in the last seven years. My wife grew up with a friend whose Dad is one of the sushi chefs there and it's still a family run place where the old timers are sadly looking at retiring within then next few years. *Ahem* My point being that you don't need to have immediate ocean access to have good sushi.
  10. Controlled rotting is literally all fermented foods. You introduce the microbes you want so it rots the way you want, make conditions as nice for those microbes and then wait. It's from bread, to cocoa, to pickles, to yogurt to the happy juice that helps me hang on when the Bills lose a game
  11. Yep. Used to be directly on Elmwood. They moved to a slightly larger place in Allentown For what it's worth, almost every high end sushi place in the US uses frozen fish, mostly because even if you are on the coast the spoilage time would be extreme on expensive inventory. Philadelphia has a Morimoto outpost. Philadelphia is at best an hour from the ocean and that's the jersey shore. That does not have the reputation for cold water seafood fishing. They obviously are getting it shipped.
  12. I mean it's hard not to get more OG than Kuni. The owner literally came from Japan and has been at work for 28 years. Now, I know it wasn't authentic but I had a weakness for Sea Bar. Come on, a beef on weck roll, take my money!
  13. It's not like I have particular insight but I think it was a combination of a few factors. 1) Opponent: from what I've dug up, Seattle loves to run zone coverage. Keon and Shakir have had no issue beating that this year. Seattle has also ranked near the bottom in run defense. 2) Field conditions: it was a downpour with the field and ball slick (as we saw many times) Were I, a complete novice, to cook up a situational game plan my immediate thought would be to explore the team strength/weakness by putting primary attack on the run game (Cook went off 100+ yards, 2 TDs) and shorter timing routes. Those are things it takes time to build chemistry on and I don't think Cooper is there yet, especially when you had two options that were working wonders
  14. I'm sorry Jim he's dead
  15. Hey, Carpaccio gets a raw deal
  16. Keon Coleman is ready to start packing to go to Seattle. To visit his kids, because he became the daddy of the Hawks secondary
  17. What stands out to me was that a few weeks ago I was hearing that he was out of position and should be moved inside. Today he dominated outside including winning a 50/50 ball for a TD vs a vet CB. He might become terrifying
  18. I mean we're not going to diagnose it from here but I'm struggling to think of an example where someone takes a non-contact knee injury while making a cut and they don't get out on I've for the year
  19. I remember a few weeks ago when the Bills were supposedly playing him out of position and should move him inside exclusively
  20. I don't know how it looks after today but holy cow did Keon get some highlight reel catches. Cooper was a non-factor today (I'm not worried, bad conditions, defensive matchup etc) and Keon still showed out.
  21. Their punter is their MVP today
  22. Sweet Christ just let it bounce in
  23. We're up by 11 and Seattle has kept shooting themselves in the foot. Keep at it until it stops working
