Anyone buying tickets yet??
Captain Caveman replied to Aross3415's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Because this has killed 80000 in 2 months with everyone staying home. If you can't understand that this has a higher rate of infection and a higher mortality rate then this probably isn't the place to get educated. For anyone questioning the science of this disease, please be mindful that my friend died of it last week. He was in his 40s, a father to two young girls and otherwise had been very healthy. This thing is no ***** joke. -

Yeah, I still haven't received my refund from the Sabres Devils game I was supposed to see on 4/2, so not really inclined to layout any more $ for a game I'm not likely allowed to attend. -

In the case of Fournette there's also an entire organization involved which has consistently shown a remarkable ability to ostracize and alienate their own talent / players. -

He's also the guy that ran out of town the best QB of all time (who also happened to have 6 rings.) -

Getting back to football, I'm glad they were able to sign Adams, if he can get healthy he could be a huge help. -
If we don't go RB in 2nd, bring back Shady?

I think Yeldon is a better back at this point in their careers. I also don't think McCoy would agree that he left on good terms. -
Can Tasker still make the HOF?
Captain Caveman replied to Braedenstearns's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I disagree - if you want to go by # of plays then there would still be a few more special teamers than there are now. 1. I think Steve should be in based on his overall contribution - he really did change how the game was played and coached (in a way that did change the outcome of games and seasons), and to me that warrants strong consideration at least. 2. I don't think he'll make it, and I'm not losing any sleep over it. -

How many other players did they create a Pro Bowl spot for? Not only that, he was so effective they changed the rules on coverage, after which he was still the best. He made the old adage that Special Teams is 1/3 of the game true. How many games would we have lost without him? The Houston comeback game comes to mind, although I'm sure there are others. Ok, is there someone else they added a Pro Bowl spot for? Well, there are more of them on the field at any given time than any other position, so it makes sense. -

The guy sitting behind me on Saturday brought up Bum Phillips a couple times. Good old Wade, I wish him the best.

Aside from the obvious heartbreak, it really was an amazing weekend. So many Bills fans, having fun and enjoying each other's company. It's so great to be a part of that. I posted this in the tailgate thread, but for those who might not have seen it. View of the 2 parking lots we filled up: And a quick video in the middle of it all:

One of my earliest football memories is being at a Bills game with my family and some family friends / neighbors, and a women asked at one point: D Gate, what the hell is D Gate?
