  1. Sounds like he had close contact but has not tested positive himself (so far)
  2. It happens every game, the problem is it prevents the CB from covering as well if the WR gets away and can lead to a bigger gain if a pass is completed. And while contact is allowed, you're not supposed to tackle the receiver or hold him down, I'm pretty sure that's a penalty.
  3. contact is allowed within 5 yards I think. tackling is not, which this maybe comes a little close to, but no harm no foul
  4. NO NEW TOPICS ROOKIE! ALSO THIS IS DUMB, THEY WERE FORCING THE PASSING GAME THE WHOLE FIRST HALF.
  5. I've been listening to a fair amount of WGR in the mornings during the week and sometimes will catch up if I missed some of it using the podcast version. They run a commercial for a show (which I assume is pretty dumb based on the commercial / concept) constantly about a woman donating a kidney to a guy. Anyway, last night my 5 year old son out of nowhere just started asking my wife "Guess who's getting a kidney!?!" and she was pretty freaked out.
  6. I love Lynch. He was a guy that you could tell had fun playing, and loved to play (reminds me a little of Josh that way.) I don't know that he'd be interested in coming back here, but I'd welcome him in a heartbeat.
  7. As someone who started my football fandom right before the Super Bowl years, I can assure you your heart will break if we lose the Super Bowl, regardless of who is on the other side. Will it hurt a little more if it's Brady? Sure, but it'll also be a heck of a lot sweeter if it's against him, and I think we would demolish that team.
  8. I know it's early, and the Bucs haven't looked like a Super Bowl team, so this is all just conjecture. But wouldn't it be sweet if we can make a run, and get to take down old man Brady in the Super Bowl? The NFC does look like a lesser team could sneak through (since Green Bay and Seattle both have been inconsistent.)
  9. Did Scott mention that he (Bart Scott) is one of those guys that goes out and spazzes on a reporter? Why would you take character assessment from him, especially about a guy he doesn't seem to have any real personal knowledge of?
  10. I think Wentz is a perfect example of what can happen when a talented QB loses a great coordinator (Reich.)
  11. I think Daboll gave Josh 2 easy TD passes last night. Now maybe he still makes those happen on a less well designed playcall, but I don't think you can overstate how much of an impact Daboll had on last night's game.
  12. Josh played an amazing game, I think Daboll also had his best game of the season in terms of playcalling and design. The TD pass to McKenzie was a perfect example. https://www.buffalobills.com/video/highlights
  13. I think there isn't a pro bowl this year, so voting is just for recognition.
  14. If Rex Ryan is calling it the dumbest call he's ever seen, that's really saying something.
  15. I've always felt that coaches largely get too much blame for things not working out in any given season (although there are lots of coaches who I'm sure deserve it.) Watching Matt Patricia pretty much run out Matt Stafford's good remaining years, along with the Falcons, Jets, Chargers and Cowboys to some extent all pretty much failing miserably with lots of talent (and especially talent at the QB position) really highlights how much value good coaches (and good coaching staffs) can have.
  16. Has anyone mentioned how the Bills have stashed Jake Fromm this year for this exact scenario?
  17. Even the Jets' local reporters are a tire fire. https://deadspin.com/daily-news-beat-writer-allegedly-tailed-jets-gm-s-son-1845758305
  18. Arizona's defense is better than Seattle (pretty much all of them are) but on the whole they haven't been great this year. After giving up 34 to Miami last week I like our odds to put up 35+ this week.
  19. Likewise we were missing a lot of key players in the Chiefs and Titans game (not to mention the weird circumstances around the Tennessee game and how that might have impacted things.) Anyway, I think earlier in the year it seemed like the first half of our schedule would be the easier portion and the second half would be really difficult, but looking at it with fresh eyes this week I think the degree of difficulty is pretty similar for both halves.
