This week is going to be looooooong

It's pretty clear that it was a concussion. He may have recovered quickly and can convince himself or his coaches / doctors / media that he's fine (and hopefully he is fine) but that man had scrambled brains immediately following that hit.

I don't think they're limited much if at all for gloves. I saw a Lineman today wearing bright yellow gloves and for a second thought I was looking at a penalty flag.

Tre also hustled down and finished the play by making sure Jackson couldn't catch him. I think Jerry Hughes had a sack on the previous play also that had backed them up. Total Team Defense last night!

Josh has been doing that all year. It's going to hopefully wind up with defenders making a decision to not risk it when it's a little late (or if they don't yards and drive extensions), so I'm all for it.

He also did mention that he was in the running for MVP this year.

I've never met a Rush fan who wasn't a giant whiner.

GAMEDAY

Practice Squad guys are generally eligible to be picked up by any other team, so not really "under contract." After the season they can be signed to reserve / futures contract if both sides agree to that.

This has a real Stripes vibe to it.

Hmm. My dad always said to never quit a job unless you've got another one lined up (and if I did I'd better not expect to come live with him.) I guess as long as you know where your groceries and rent are coming from. I always thought you can't get unemployment for quitting a job (which in essence is what happened since you told them you couldn't work your scheduled shift.)

I'm sure he won't if he feels there is a big drop off. I'm just saying that may not be the case given his history in College.

I wonder if we might see him AND Yeldon activated this week, and have Taiwan Jones sit. I read somewhere that Antonio Williams was his team's MVP on special teams in College, so seems like ST shouldn't suffer too much even though Taiwan Jones is great there.

Before this gets locked, I'll just say I hope this is the first and last time I ever feel anything like respect towards Bill Belicheck.

Freeman's not going to leapfrog Yeldon, this would be insurance in case another back goes down.

I love Marshawn and if it seems like he'd help I'd be all for it, but honestly I doubt he's going to be a better option than Antonio Williams after sitting out all year.

relative to kicking accuracy vs passing accuracy, kind of. His big knock coming out of college was inconsistency / inaccuracy. His Kicking percentage in 2019 was 71%, which is at least 10% lower than what you'd want to see from a kicker.
