  2. Probably just as likely to come down with food poisoning at Duffs (or insert your favorite wing place here) before a game
  3. This was not a call that could be challenged. Maybe it could fall under the "every scoring play is reviewed" category?
  4. Sure, so was Tua 2 years ago.
  5. https://12ft.io/https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/5699837/2024/09/19/christian-benford-bills-face-tattoo/ In case anyone hasn't read it yet...
  6. Just bumping this because I hope everyone here reads it. A great article about what seems like a terrific young man.
  7. Seems like you all missed this https://www.nbcnews.com/now/video/navy-rear-admiral-speaks-out-about-uap-sightings-in-new-paper-211902021618
  8. I'm not sure if this is the same as "Open Target Rate" (I would assume it is) But if so, all these rookies seem to have some work to do. In any case it would be interesstig to see how these #s match up to non-rookie receivers. https://www.pff.com/news/nfl-ranking-top-wide-receivers-open-target-rate-separation-2023
  9. What happened to Rich?
  10. I'm so sorry Ugh, we're getting closer than I'd like here also
  11. Is this a reference to the NFL App alert about the Denver receiver who caught a long pass from Russell Wilson in 2022? I assume that is KJ Hamler.
  12. There's a fair amount of speculation that he wouldn't want to come in and is waiting to sign in the hopes that if a qb becomes injured a starting job could open up.
  13. Yeah, 4th in TD Scoring % in the red zone last year (and Chiefs were 19th?) https://www.teamrankings.com/nfl/stat/red-zone-scoring-pct 9th in 2022 1st in 2021 If you're going to say Josh is the problem are you not going to give him credit for his red zone rushing TDs?
  14. I agree that he would likely have made a difference in the Chiefs game, but I also am not sure we should be counting on him staying healthy given his history.
  15. Technically it's supposed to, although it's typically not well tracked or enforced I had heard that players are paid per game, and therefore basically if there are 17 games they are supposed to allocate / pay 1/17 taxes per location they play in. But to me (especially if I played in a low / no income tax state) I feel like it would be worth making the argument that all of the required practices, training camp, etc. are part of the job and the days I'm actually in the other states account for a lower percentage of income.
  16. Whatever floats your (house)boat Most season ticket holders (especially those on this board) are Bills fans who like going to games, but for a lot of us we can't go to all of them. We're not generally profit motivated, but typically by selling a few games a little above cost, we make up for other games we might need to sell below cost.
  17. Is he also not going to some games?
  18. My first game ever was November 1988, Bills v Jets, they clinched the division on a field goal in OT after Fred Smerlas blocked a GF in the 4th quarter. The goal posts came down, we lost my Uncle in the frenzy, I'd never seen my dad so happy (giddy really.) The other contender would be the Bills Raiders AFC championship game (51-3), knowing that they were headed to their first Super Bowl (and would be favorites against the Giants) we were on a high for the entire 3 hour drive home.
  19. Some pics of the "experience" (not mine but came from the Season Ticket discussion group) https://photos.app.goo.gl/4UN5LqegenFBSYtp8
  20. I think it depends on the position a little also - WR has become SO expensive, there's no discount on the 5th year option really
  21. If they trade down 4 picks, usually it means there are enough guys they have valued similarly that even if 2-3 are taken they are still ok with the guy they get.
  22. One can undsrstand that it is not unique or new and also commonly understood as very bad for the general public. I love the Bills, and I'm glad they are staying here with a new stadium, my practical side also realizes that this is absolutely a losing proposition for NY taxpayers.
  23. I hope you didn't bet off more than you could chew hmmmm
