  1. you keep posting this about schonert, but ralph has to pay out the length of his contract.
  2. goon goon goon goon goon i'm going to kill scott wood heart of the sunrise
  3. you have an annoying gift for hyperbole. i wish you would take it somewhere else.
  4. Maybe AVP felt Walker was holding back the no-huddle, or had some other friction with Walker?
  5. hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
  6. Yes, the third string qb does count against the 53 man roster. On game day, the third QB doesn't count against the total of active players allowed, but if they come in, then your first and second qbs are not allowed back in the game.
  7. You're not getting someone from another team in the middle of the season.
  8. I posted his stats / bio on an earlier page in the thread. Very similar to AVP's numbers, which is what he was trying to point out.
  9. Turk Schonert's bio (from Wikipedia, so could potentially be incorrect): College career As a senior quarterback at Stanford University, Schonert followed Guy Benjamin and Steve Dils, who each won the Sammy Baugh Trophy given to college football's top passer, and was backed up by freshman John Elway. Schonert finished as the school's third consecutive NCAA passing champion and set a team record for completion percentage.[3] Professional career Schonert was selected by the Chicago Bears in the ninth round of the 1980 NFL Draft but never played for the franchise. He played nine seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals, including the Super Bowl XVI and Super Bowl XXIII teams, and spent one season with the Atlanta Falcons. Schonert retired in 1989, finishing his career with 11 touchdowns, 20 interceptions and a 7-5 record as a starting quarterback.[4] Seems to be about on par with AVP's experience, no?
  10. I'm assuming he'll have to follow direction from DJ and the front office (RW included) as to how to much he will be able to change the offense this year.
  11. According to this, the pace of the no-huddle wasn't being run quickly enough. Surprising....
  12. I'm wondering if this will be the excuse for keeping Jauron next year if things go horribly wrong this year? "Well, we lost our OC right before week 1, and we were just never able to gain any momentum, offense-wise." "Winning games in the NFL is hard, when Alex Van Pelt is your offensive coordinator." I hope AVP does well. We'll see.
  13. I thought Brawndo makes the grass grow? It's got electrolytes.
  14. wow. wonder who's going to be in charge? this does not bode well for next monday's game.
  15. Just saw that on the replay. Crazy. What was the lead up to that?
  16. Seems like about half of the people think it's too much, and half think not enough. Which probably means that Goodell has done his job.
  17. This seems very suspicious. I would warn anyone against downloading anything from here.
  18. Yeah, but you're ignoring what made Minnesota's offense so good (besides Peterson.) The O-line.
