  1. There most likely will be teams with losing records ranked from 17 - 20. Not saying one way or another whether we deserve to be ranked with them. In the long run, the only rankings that matter are playoff seeding.
  2. I'm pretty sure there is a limit of how many games a player can have under his belt when being sent to the PS, but I'm not sure what the limit is. Stupar had also been active for a few games last year, I believe.
  3. It might of taken 5 seconds off the clock, but the time stoppage to measure for a first probably would have saved 5 seconds at least.
  4. Challenging would have stopped the clock, which was the last thing we wanted to do right then. Also, he probably didn't get a chance to see a replay, and I can't blame him for not wanting to risk a timeout for something like that.
  5. And my point, is that you're wrong, and he is entirely to blame. Nice sense of humor.
  6. Our biggest drive-killers were penalites, mostly on the O-line. Since we're being "real" here, do you think asking them to hold their blocks for an extra couple of seconds would have helped? Capitalizing on what the defense is giving you is smart football. Forcing the ball into double coverage downfield with no blocking is Rob Johnson football. I know he doesn't get much love here, but Peter King mentions AVP as the best offensive coordinator this week. I think that may be going a bit overboard, but I do think his game plan was just about perfect, considering what he had to work with, and what he was going against. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2009/writ...mail/index.html
  7. Nobody? Looking at buffaloed, jwws, chimp? Still think Schobel sucks?
  8. How many holding calls did we have on runs and short - medium passes? And you want to throw the ball downfield to a receiver who is being double covered. Just because you want to see something happen doesn't make it right.
  9. I would like to think I speak for many on this board who would be happy to be ahead by 11 with 4 minutes to go in the rest of our games this season.
  10. I actually thought that Buggs actually filled in pretty well until the entire defense fell apart in the last 5 minutes. And this looked to be more related to our Defense's inability to keep up with the no-huddle, as Stroud and the rest of our D-line seemed to be winded. Kind of ironic, huh?
  11. The offensive game plan put us in a position to win, but you should submit your resume over at 1 Bills Drive, because obviously you would have lit up the scoreboard if left in charge of the offense.
  12. They might, especially if you're a smoker. I'm pretty sure I remember reading an article a few years back on the increase in cardiac arrests seen in local hospitals during Bills games.
  13. I am really excited to see what Marshawn might be able to do with similar blocking and play calling. I remember thinking a couple of times last night how exciting it could have been if he was catching some of those screen passes, especially when Jackson got into the defensive secondary and had one man to beat. On some of the plays where Jackson ended up corralled out of bounds, I think Marshawn may have been able to throw a stiff arm and keep going.
  14. I would consider it depending on what we get back. But I don't think it will happen for the following reasons. 1. Fred Jackson looked great last night, but that was largely due to the defense double teaming two WRs. I'm not sure he can be an every down back next year without TO and Evans. 2. Fred Jackson will be 29 next year. Most running backs turn into a pumpkin at or before age 30. I know he doesn't have a lot of carries in the NFL, but he had plenty of work in other leagues, and it's hard to say how many good years he has left. 3. The Bills have traded every decent back we've had since Thurman, and I don't know how the fans would take it. I have to think Wilson (and Brandon) would be worried about fan reaction, unless we get great value in return. 4. It would take a desperate team to give up much value for a guy who hasn't really lived up to his potential after three years, and is 1 strike away from a very long suspension. Did Tennessee get anything for Pacman Jones? I'm not saying Lynch is in Jones territory (yet) but teams would be taking a risk.
  15. I think he's from Krypton. Sounds like maybe he's related to Jor-el.
  16. Hey, this thread's about blaming Poojer, you piece of .
  17. I had three phone calls after the last Bills touchdown and didn't take any of them, 'cause I didn't want to jinx it.
  18. If tampa doubles both of our WRs, we'd be start to keep running the ball.
  19. So, is anyone ready to eat some crow? 1 game does not a season make, but he looked pretty damned good last night, no?
  20. Yeah, but it seems like he would have had more of an opportunity in Carolina after Delhomme's showing yesterday. I guess his familiarity with the Iggles offense had something to do with it.
  21. Wow. I'm really surprised about Garcia to Philly. I wonder what this means for Vick's chances of sticking with the team?
