  1. Seriously guys, look outside, the sky is falling. If you agree, you should probably go find a door to stand in. Hopefully away from a keyboard.
  2. 1. Mr. Wilson doesn't owe you fried potatoes. If you feel differently, write him a letter. Stop bothering us. 2. There is a very good chance the team will be moved after he passes away. It's not about attendance, we're already in the top 10 in the league of attendance. It is about maximizing revenue, and there's not much more to be squeezed out of Buffalo. Most likely, someone who spends the hundreds of millions of dollars it will take to buy this team will want maximum return on their investment, and they're not going to get it in Buffalo.
  3. I lived in Brooklyn for a few years (now in NJ), and never knew it had a typical attitude. If it does, I'm pretty sure RTDB doesn't have it. He has more of a Chautauqua County attitude, you jerk. That's my NJ attitude, BTW.
  4. No, but it must be appealing to have his Daddy come along with him.
  5. I think the idea is that after the Super Bowl, the Pro Bowl was very anti-climactic.
  6. Probably why it hasn't happened yet; he's still trying to find security who will agree to escort him out of the building.
  7. Tim, I have a similar ownership related question which I'm hoping you might have some insight into. With Mr. Goodell being from Western NY, do you think he might actually go above and beyond to keep the team in Buffalo when the time comes? For example, might he consider allowing Buffalo to become another publicly owned team, like the Packers? I understand there are many practical reasons why this unlikely, but would he have the power to do so? Or might he exert some influence to make sure the team goes to an ownership group committed to keeping the team in WNY?
  8. So Brohm didn't have a supporting cast in Green Bay where they put up 45 points on Sunday?
  9. Does anyone have a link to ESPN reporting this, or was it on TV this morning? I'm not finding anything on their website.
  10. He took a team with a built in handicap (attention to academics) and had a chance to win one of the toughest conferences in football. He also beat the snot out of Pete Carroll and USC, and with much less talent on the roster. He's a leader, and an overachiever, and that's why some folks want him to come to Buffalo.
  11. I'm not worried about Old Al and the Rooney rule. Remember, he hired Art Shell as the first African American Head coach in modern history.
  12. Players from the teams in the Super Bowl won't be playing.
  13. Actually, the rule now applies to front office positions (including GM as well.) http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/conte...9061502806.html
  14. The next person to post this rumor (which if true would have the Bills violating league rules) without a link will be sorry.
  15. If Mort says Carroll, my $ is on Cowher. Or anyone, other than Carroll.
  16. No team is allowed to contact Grimm until his team is out of the playoffs, or the Super Bowl bye week, whichever comes first. Not even to contact him to ask for an interview. So please fill us in on why you think he turned down an interview. Otherwise, someone please close this thread. Waste of time.
  17. Do you have any evidence at all that this is the case? Since Arizona does not have a bye this week, the Bills are not allowed to talk with Grimm. But you get an A+ for pointless speculation.
  18. I bet we could get them to throw in Reggie Wayne and Dallas Clark too. And the O-line. And Bill Polian. Plus cash.
  19. Zyzlryzbkawicz is not too far off from some of the names in my family tree. But it must have been another hook footed old man.
