  1. Here's one. It took me a whole minute to find it. Not going to argue with you anymore, because it's a waste of typing. http://www.winnipegfreepress.com/sports/football/bills-rb-lynch-cant-escape-trade-speculation-as-teammates-get-in-on-the-talk-103071854.html
  2. So saying that he doesn't need locker room access is not telling him how to do his job? Fine. You're good at splitting hairs. And I'm good at a lot of things. You keep harping on what you seem to feel is an indisputable fact that no good stories are the result of reporters being allowed in the locker room. A professional journalist comes on says it's not true, and that many of his stories rely on this access. You ignore it, then make the same assertion again. You ask him to prove it? Why? Believe him, or don't believe him. He doesn't owe you an explanation.
  3. You were right, I was wrong. She was at some point in the locker room. The initial story was about actions which happened on the practice field. Then stop telling him you're sure you know how best to do his job.
  4. How many times does it need to be restated that she was not in the locker room?
  5. Do you still have a working cassette player? Your best option might be to get a low cost interface to record into your computer. You can then edit and burn CDs from the computer. I'm not sure how tech-savvy you are, but that's how I would go about it. Something like this: http://shop.vendio.com/progearwarehouse/item/2050910010/?s=1284537362
  6. Not sure about a device designed specifically for that. Most recording studios might be hard up enough to do this for relatively cheap. If you can't find one that will do it, message me, I have the tools.
  7. yeah, it's nice to be able to choose the bands you like. not like choosing your football team, unfortunately.
  8. Man, I kind of miss Wade's press conferences in a masochistic kind of way. uhh, I think we played, uh, pretty well, uh consistent-wise.
  9. Well, since every GB is sold out before the season begins, they're getting 40% anyway. I get it. Ignore Button.
  10. I would be willing to bet it's not the jersey. I think it's likely supposed to be a replica of a Simms jersey. Could be wrong, but that's my guess.
  11. Like Phil Simms? But the OP said he heard the announcers discussing it, not that he saw a #11 jersey. Weird.
  12. I can not endorse betting on the Bills in any way shape or form this season. They're already breaking our hearts, don't let them bankrupt you as well.
  13. I think it's unlikely he will be the highest paid Bill in history. I do not think there will be another year of football without a rookie salary cap in place, similar to what is currently used by the NHL.
  14. I'm not a conspiracy theorist, and I don't think the Lions were intentionally robbed. Obviously, the NFL did not think it was a reception. Obviously, most fans think the NFL is wrong, myself included. I think the rule is not clear, and even if they go to great lengths to spell it out, the rule is ridiculous. To me, there were two separate motions: 1. He catches the ball, his butt hits the ground. 2. He rolls over on his way to getting up and drops the ball as he is rolling over. After #1, to me it's a touchdown. The initial jarring of him hitting the the ground did not cause the ball to pop out. Which indicates possession. To me, and most other people.
  15. My post was not aimed at standers. I was responding to a few posters who have complained about the drunks, and a few who seemed to indicate that if you don't like any of the activity which happens on game day, you should not buy a ticket. I think standing, especially on defense is part of the game. I wish the binge drinking was less a part of it.
  16. Yes, I was drawing on your experience. Luckily, it has not happened to me.
  17. good luck, hope things get better soon.
  18. to summarize: half of us think it was trent's fault. the other half think it was bell's fault. we can all agree that it's bad when our qb gets sacked. i blame jor-on.
