  1. Yeah, but there's no way you're going to fit all those round CBs onto the rectangular field.
  2. Haven't seen any updates on who's taking his place. Is KW back at NT, or is Jasper in with the 1st team now?
  3. If he could pass a physical he'd be a Raider right now.
  4. As of right now he has not been declared eligible. Which is interesting, because 2 other players have been. http://nfl.si.com/2011/08/09/nfl-still-undecided-on-terrelle-pryors-status/?sct=nfl_t2_a8
  5. "pass, he's an idiot" or something along those lines.
  6. It depends on quite a few factors and can be very hard to predict. Weather How the Bills are doing in the first 2 games How the Patriots are doing in the first 2 games How many tickets are left / how many people can't go I often buy gameday Yankees tickets for well below face value. The key is to keep an eye on the # of tickets remaining (and sometimes the weather report), as this number goes down, prices will usually go up. If this number stays relatively high as gameday approaches, especially if lousy weather is predicted, people who can't get to the game will usually start to become desperate and lower their prices. Keep an eye on the Oakland game the week before (although it's not a division game, you may see some patterns which could be helpful.) Of course, your mileage may vary.
  7. It's probably because according to our record we were a bottom 5 team last year. How about Cinci with Andy Dalton, or possibly Jordan "I'm no Carson" Palmer at QB? (Andy Dalton may have a future in this league, but as a rookie in that offense, I think his future more likely includes a trip to the hospital.)
  8. There's another thread where some guys is looking for a trader who used to be with the Jets. I wonder if the trader could help us trade Maybin?
  9. Not only the draft pick, but if he's traded the other team has to pick up his current salary.
  10. Supply would be lower, which makes the existing seats more valuable, I guess. But that assumes people have the $ to spend on more expensive seats. Also, don't forget to factor in the fact that on average the Stadium probably makes about 20$ per seat in beer / food / merchandise sales. Beaver Stadium is in a smaller area, and holds 110,000. And it's usually full.
  11. Seems like you answered your own question.
  12. From http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/blog?name=schefter_adam&id=6843541 Depth Chart: http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/depth/_/name/cin/cincinnati-bengals How many games will they win this year?
  13. Take it easy on the caps Charlie. Kelsay's extension last year was a feel good move (for Kelsay and the FO), however, it basically had no real world implications for the Bills if they want to release him at any point moving forward. That being said, his base salary is only 2M, so I'm thinking he probably sticks around, unless there is a large roster bonus due if he makes the team.
  14. So do you think Chris Hairston is more likely to make an impact this year than Albert Haynesworth? I wouldn't bet on it backfiring, Belicheck showed last year that he can cut / trade a player (e.g. Moss) if he thinks the player is no longer good for the team.
  15. Oh, well if you just wanted to send a letter (like some fan mail - that's cute) you can send it right to the Stadium, they'll make sure he gets it.
  16. Hey Jimmy, welcome back. I'm not sure where they stay, but I'm sure a man with your resources will have no problem finding it. When you do find them, can you take care of Aaron Maybin as well (as kind of a goodwill gesture.) Thanks!
  17. You mean I should stop playing those "games" where I click on the screen to shoot the soccer ball (and each time 6 pop up windows come up)?
  18. It could be argued that "Pat's" is ok, since it is an abbreviation of the Patriots. Not sure what to make of day's.
  19. I think it has a lot to do with how young he was when he was drafted.
  20. NFL Rewind is the option for 40$. I believe it's also available in other parts of the world, but don't hold me to that. To get Sunday ticket to go, you're supposed to either already have Direct TV, or not be able to get it (not sure how stringent they are about that.) My wife and I have been without any cable / satellite for the past 2 years, I finally bit the bullet and ordered satellite and the ticket this year.
  21. It was vs. the Jets, we clinched the AFC East (first time I think since 1980); I was at the game and it was awesome.
  22. Is a guy who is on probation for DUI allowed to be in a bar?
