  1. Just because he wasn't playing in the NFL doesn't mean he wasn't playing, he was still playing football. In fact, in 2006 he played 2 seasons (one in NFL Europe and one with the Bills.) He's now played 8 seasons of professional football (9 if you count the double season in 2006.) I love Freddie, and I hope he plays 5 more productive years. But the odds are against that happening.
  2. I was born in NYC, and now live in NJ, and sometimes root for the Jets, but usually only when they're bad, or playing someone else I don't like.
  3. You're very likely going to have to replace Fred Jackson within the next 2-3 years anyway. And he's under contract this year and next.
  4. Not disrespecting Wegmans, I'm just thinking if he hasn't had them before, he should first try them at Ted's. Believe me, I would do just about anything (except move I guess?) to have a Wegmans close enough to do my regular shopping at.
  5. Are you in Buffalo? Ditch Wegman's and go to Ted's.
  6. Fred J is still under contract next year. After that he will be 32. I think he's earned more money, but from a business perspective, I don't know that it makes sense to redo his contract.
  7. Yeah, only ****ty QBs throw interceptions without thinking about whether they'll be in position to make the tackle.
  8. And taking an average after 3 games is asking for some pretty skewed results.
  9. I don't think the Bills will overlook the Bengals. I do think the Bengals will be desperate, and thus dangerous. They will come out with a lot of intensity, and if we don't match it, we could be down early again.
  10. It's a pathetically run franchise. Not many cities would take as many losing seasons as Cinci has had and continue to sell tickets like Buffalo. Throw in a star QB sitting rather than taking another snap, and an owner too stubborn to get something in return for him, and you've got a debacle.
  11. Am I the only one that thinks Jack Kemp? I never saw Kemp play, but their path to becoming starters seems similar.
  12. ****, the most it'll let you but is 999.
  13. Was he wearing his fairy outfit from the DirecTV commercial when he said it?
  14. I don't think Fitz is the type of guy to overlook an opponent, he's seen teams do it against him his whole career. I think our offense shows up anyway, and Cinci's offense doesn't scare me at all. With that said, it's hard to win in the NFL. Anything can happen come Sunday.
  15. Still nothing, huh? We now have a better statistical chance of going 19-0 than 0-16, 1-15 or 2-14.
  16. I think our best chance will be to score more points than them. Or, just possibly we might be able to allow fewer points than they do.
  17. I'm hoping to watch from my hotel room in Agra, India (next to the Taj Mahal.) The game starts here at 10:30PM, and I'm planning to be up at 5 the next morning to see the Taj at dawn. They better make it worth staying up.
  18. I'd call Bills customer service and see if there's anything they can do to help. Maybe they'll help you with some closer parking.
  19. They're not going to be able to come form behind like that against better teams (which they tried to do too many times last year.) They still need to prove they can come out and beat a good team, it will be very difficult to do that down 18 points at halftime. I love the fact that we're 2-0, but the 4-0 start from the 2008 season is too fresh in my mind to fully believe this team has turned the corner.
  20. Then 2 things will have happened. 1. Something very unusual has prevented us from playing 2 games. 2. We will not have finished 0-16 as per the OP.
