  1. Really? It seems like that could net you some decent results. I would have said it's like using a shotgun from 1000 yards.
  2. I'm in Jersey City, and wondering where exactly this happened.
  3. Generally all of your sources (DirecTV receiver, Blu Ray Player, Roku box, etc....) will go to the receiver, the receiver will send one output to the TV.

  5. Lots of questionable calls last night on both sides of the ball. I thought it was an incomplete pass based on my understanding of the rule.
  6. is there anything at all which supports this assumption?
  7. I don't want to hear that it's hard to win in the NFL. Edit - Jack beat me to it.
  8. I wouldn't be so sure, he is probably going to be one of the most sought after D-Coordinator candidates (along with Horton.)
  9. I will be mildly surprised if any QB is taken prior to our pick (if so it will only be out of desperation.)
  10. The difference being that Vick didn't throw his teammates under the bus when the **** hit the fan.
  11. Thanks. I'm ready to move on, and hope that we do hire Horton.
  12. It doesn't assume that at all. I qualified both of my posts with a big if. It's a rumor, and one that doesn't make sense, but it almost sounds to bizarre to be made up. I was trying to think of some possible explanation - but I do not (and did not) assume that the rumor is true.
  13. Thanks for clarifying - I also don't think Buddy is checked out, although I do think his role has been reduced. I was just trying to point out that if Horton told some friends / colleagues something about Nix during the interview, it could be for a variety of reasons. I think something was likely lost in translation, and maybe they were just trying to indicate that Nix wasn't heavily involved in the interview (which I think is likely.)
  14. so you believe that nix was sleeping during the interview?
  15. Whisenhunt and Reid. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2013/01/04/jeremiah-trotter-andy-reid-got-out-coached-in-a-lot-of-games/
  16. I am guessing that Nix "sleeping" was exaggerated at some point, but in any case, I'd be willing to bet if he was less than enthusiastic it's probably with his own diminished role in the organization rather than a lack of interest / respect for any specific candidates.
  17. A few things I like about this. 1. Learned under Lebeau, and has had a lot of success in his own right. 2. Has stated he would not be calling plays on the defensive side. I think it's important for a head coach to focus on that and let his coordinators do their jobs. 3. This could mean the return of Frank Reich (who was on the Arizona staff as well.)
  18. I could be mistaken, but I believe the other differentiating factor is that you don't pay to enter ESPN's pool, therefore, it is seen as a contest, and not any form of gambling.
  19. Having 200,000 extra dollars in the bank is probably red flag enough.
