  1. In the first 2 games it looked like we were anticipating the snap on D a lot - it will be a lot harder to do that today, may be one reason it seems like we're not generating pressure, but it also looks like Geno is getting rid of the ball early.
  2. Yeah, really? If you haven't really done this and aren't planning to, I call it.
  3. On a related question, how is getting home on the same train after the game? Not too crowded / drunk / disorderly? Am I getting pegged in the back of the head with a beer bottle for wearing a bills jersey?
  4. Yeah, I love that we have football as part of our family's bonding. My fondest memories with my father are from going to games, driving up together, tailgating, and driving home too. I am very much looking forward to being able to do the same with my son. Glad you got to have that memory with your dad.
  5. You mean in addition to this? http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/9638820/jairus-byrd-buffalo-bills-questions-report-requested-trade
  6. I've got two. First was the 1988 game vs. the Jets where we clinched the AFC East title. I was 8, and had just started taking an interest in football, and my Dad took me to the game, my first. I had been rooting for the Jets that season (I was born in Manhattan and raised around the city) and my Dad was a lifelong Bills fan, he grew up in Cheektowaga. I remember being totally overwhelmed by just about everything at the stadium, and by halftime I was rooting for the Bills. Smerlas blocked a field goal to send the game to overtime, and after we won the fans rushed the field and tore down the goal posts. An awesome first game. My second best memory was the playoff game in 1990 against the Raiders, winning 51-3. Again went to the game with my Dad, and the drive home is probably the happiest I ever remember us both being as a kid. I remember listening to the post game on the way home and finding out later that we were playing the Giants. We were so confident that we could not lose.
  7. Maybe he slept with Marrone's daughter. Maybe he has been eating too many Chunky bars. Maybe he's got mono. Maybe Chandler and Smith have performed better in practice. Maybe his blocking would be likely to get EJ mauled. Maybe he's an undercover agent from the Pats, but we're onto him.
  8. Didn't he get cut? My nominations would be Chandler and TJ. I am also disappointed that Bradham apparently hasn't done enough to get on the field (or else he's still being punished for his offseason problem.) I'd like to see Hogan and Easley get a chance in the 3rd receiver spot now that Goodwin is out for the foreseeable future.
  9. If there's one thing I have learned from Jauron and Fitzpatrick it's that extending a coach or player based on the performance of 6 games or less is an awesome idea.
  10. Thanks, that makes sense. Unfortunately, I can't access the link from work and my phone is also crapping out. Can anyone tell me what section(s) these tickets are in? Thanks!
  11. Hmm, just figured out I can get there by train in about 30 minutes. Definitely tempting. I'd rather go with other Bills fans. Anybody have a seat within a group they're looking to sell? If so PM me.
  12. That's a nice coat of arms, but my last name is caveman
  13. Are these rankings based on yards, points, or something else? One thing worth considering is that the Defense has been put in a lot of bad situations (considering we're only two games in) due to turnovers / bad field position. I do still have concerns about the run D, but one bright spot is that when the game was on the line this past Sunday and we knew they were going to run on their last drive, we were able to stop them and force the punt.
  14. Speaking of getting to the ball in a bad mood, did anyone catch Dareus plopping down on Cam like a pile of leaves after / on one of the Mario sacks?
  15. What sections are everyone sitting in? Thinking about last minute tickets.
