  1. **** happens, I don't need a God to blame for it.
  2. If there is a god, I don't believe he punishes us, especially not for actions which are harmless to other people / beings.
  3. He wasn't saying they shouldn't be rescued, he was saying the rescuers should be glad his taxes are paying their salary. He was already yelling for them
  4. Real question - are there straight people who feel like they made a choice (or actively are making a choice?)
  5. Well, you've probably never lived through a Missouri August.
  6. I'd like to see the folks saying that this is attention seeking or somehow throwing it in our faces try and walk in the shoes of a gay person for a couple of days. You can still get the **** kicked out of you (or worse) in a lot of places in this country (and world) for acknowledging being gay. There are lots of good reasons to come out, insulting / spiting other people really isn't one of them. Right, but you're talking about non-conference games, which don't hurt his draft stock as much as in conference games.
  7. I didn't see that happen this year (didn't get to watch a lot of games) and didn't notice it in the SB, but if it was happening then I agree it should have been a penalty.
  8. No bias on my part. The NFL confirmed that according to the current rules, if a receiver is running a route, he has the right of way, even if his route is designed to run a "pick". What the Broncos are doing has been confirmed as being legal by the NFL - it's not offensive pass interference if a receiver is running a route. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2014/01/22/nfl-confirms-wes-welkers-hit-on-aqib-talib-was-legal/
  9. So you missed the part above (in bold now) or just felt like arguing? Now I feel like arguing.
  10. I think the Bills did what we had to based on his inability to stay out of trouble while here. At the same time, I don't have any hard feelings towards him, I always enjoyed watching him run for us, and I'm happy for him that he seems to have found a place where he can be himself without getting into too much trouble. I also really like his after touchdown non-celebrations.
  11. Agreed. This has been the Seahawks strategy all season. Cheat enough, and it will start to look normal. http://online.wsj.co...310500005285822 Edit: I also think Denver has found interesting ways "around" the rules (e.g. setting picks through routes) and I don't think a tighter called game last night would have made a difference, but it might have made it a bit closer. I also was not invested in who won.
  12. I also think this game could have been a lot closer if the officials had been a little closer with pass interference calls. Obviously though, the Broncos just kept shooting holes in their own lower extremities.
  13. Frank the TANK! Frank the TANK! Frank the TANK! Frank the TANK!
  14. Yeah, I feel like I ate too much beef on weck. It's 1993 all over again.
  15. The tickets are 2000$ a piece. Price gouging is expected and encouraged. By the way, this game is unpleasant.
  16. He's not at this point in his career, but 4 pro bowls is nothing to sneeze at. If he can get 4 or 5 more (a big if) in the next 6-7 years I'd say he's in the discussion.
  17. Does Ray Guy getting in give any hope to Steve Tasker (maybe in 20 years)? Yeah, I wonder how many more pro bowls Kyle would have to earn to be considered?
  18. Right, because our LB play has been so consistently stellar.
  19. I don't disagree, just seems that the OP has been debunked.
  20. This seems to be definitely not true based on quotes from Marrone. http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/10360843/cleveland-browns-expected-hire-jim-oneil-defensive-coordinator-buffalo-bills-coach-doug-marrone-says
