  1. He's better that most backup QBs in the league. Which is what he'll probably be in Houston (at least eventually.)
  2. I like the convenience of using the bank we use for everything else, rates, etc... are competitive with all the other sites.
  3. Especially with us having a new D coordinator and lots of new D coaches in place.
  4. I'd be happy to help, but I usually spend my time here in spurts depending on workload. I'm not sure how frequently mods are expected to "actively" monitor.
  5. And I'm sure they'd be glad to use the separate but equal facilities, given how accepting everyone is of them.
  6. THEY ARE ALREADY THERE. WHO GIVES A !@#$ IF IT'S A DOUBLE STANDARD. IT'S REALITY. YOU CAN EITHER PRESENT A REALISTIC SOLUTION, OR LIVE WITH IT, OR CONTINUING PRETENDING IT DOESN'T EXIST. BUT YOU EITHER HAVEN'T BEEN IN MANY LOCKER ROOMS, OR ELSE YOU HAVE BEEN IN LOCKER ROOMS WITH GAY DUDES.
  7. Whether you like it or not, they are allowed there. You just prefer to pretend they don't exist.
  8. I've been in locker rooms with gay friendly teams sharing space. It's not sexual, it's not awkward, and anyone who was weirded out by it either went somewhere else or got over it real quick.
  9. Last time I'm going to say this, because you keep ignoring it anyway. The line is, don't harm other people. If you can, you help them. --------------Line------------------------------------------------------------------- I'm not against rules and norms for the sake of being against them. Anyone who is is an idiot. I do, however, think that rules and norms should be questioned, to the following standard: Is this rule protecting people from harm? If so, it's probably a good rule. Otherwise, society should question it, and if appropriate get rid of it. There are lots of places where a rule / norm might harm one person / group and help another. There, judgements have to be made about what is best for everyone. In the case of homosexuality, I have yet to hear anyone make a convincing argument that allowing homosexuals equal rights, standing and respect is harming anyone.
  10. bull ****. The limit is, don't cause harm to others. Hopefully, do one better and help others.
  11. If my earlier post needs elaboration, here's why I think you're reaching real far. I hope and assume that my son and any other future offspring will grow up without wanting to be treated poorly. Because that's not a thing. I'm not saying it can't happen, I'm saying it's far down the list of things I'm worried about. Far, far !@#$ing down.
  12. I draw the line at treating other people poorly. It's an easy line to draw.
  13. Not dancing around the question at all. I don't actively want my son to be straight or gay. I want him to be who he is. If he's gay I will not be disappointed, and I'll be proud if he feels comfortable being himself. If you don't understand that then it's not worth explaining further.
  14. I know that this wasn't directed at me, but I hope my son lives in a world where he can be himself, as long as he treats others as he would want to be treated. If he's gay, I'll be ok with it.
  15. 1. Thanks 2. I think you're way off here. I'll leave it at that.
  16. Who cares what people think, God is the one judging him dude, and God knows he's getting paid to be there.
  17. 1. Are you saying practicing homosexuality should land you in a psych ward, or just saying it's stupid to practice homosexuality? How would you feel if whatever sexual urges you felt would land you in a psych ward if acted upon (assuming those urges were practiced between consenting adults.) 2. Define skyrocket. I assume as others have mentioned that as it becomes more acceptable, more people who might have remained closeted years ago will be more open an honest with themselves about their sexual preference. I don't see this as a bad thing.
  18. Do you find women sexually attractive? Do you find men sexually attractive? I personally find women attractive. I can't imagine thinking one day, hey, I'm going to have sex with a dude, because it's outside of social norms. Do you think that with all the bull **** gay people have to put up with that 10% of the population would willfully make a choice that goes against their biological nature? How about 70 years ago when getting caught in a gay relationship could land you in a god-damned psych ward? Explain bisexuality? Some people are turned on by women and men. It's not !@#$ing hard to explain.
