  1. Was just coming to post that. I would have gotten in trouble for laughing loudly at work, except I'm working from my bedroom today.
  2. This is about as threatening as a member of the house of representatives getting involved.
  3. Waaggghh, but I have to see all these narcissists in my facebook feed. In 2013, ALSA had $25 million in revenue.
  4. Yeah, unlikely to happen this year, but doesn't mean he's out of the woods.
  5. For everyone complaining about ignoring the position in free agency - Did you see a different Thad Lewis than I did last year? Because based on last year's performance in actual games, I was happy with him as our backup. I don't know what happened to the man since then, but I'm surprised that so many people here seemed to have seen this coming.
  6. We mix my son's apple juice with water. It's refreshing, but there's no sugar high. Sounds like a 9-7 season.
  7. Is that saying even true? I would think it would be darkest at the time in between sunset and sunrise (not accounting for moon fullness, clouds, etc....)
  8. The title is a bit of a joke based on a thread from a few years ago when we were 4-1, largely resulting from a large turnover differential in our favor. It will be clear to me that anyone who responds with some numbskull comment about 15 seasons of sustainable losing did not actually read the post. It seems many here are ready to throw in the towel (or have already done so) based on one half of football where three separate players caused three costly turnovers. This leaves a sour taste in my mouth, and it doesn't bode well that the team completely self destructed in the first half. With that said, IMO it is very unlikely that we will see these kind of ball security issues (at least at this level) continue. And if you take away (or reduce) the turnovers, I think Saturday's game looks very different, and maybe the panic / hysteria is slightly reduced? I'm not saying it's good that we had so many turnovers, I'm not saying we should overlook the loss, or the way the team seemed to fall apart after a few bad plays, although I did take some comfort in the fact that they seemed to rebound in the second half. I'm not even saying I'm optimistic going into this season. I am saying it's usually not as bad as you think after a loss, and it's usually not as good as you think after a win (or even when you're 4-1.) We'll see where things shake out, but I'm not ready to give up just yet.
  9. So are you expecting three turnovers by our offense in the first half of every game this year? Cause yeah, that would be tough to come back from.
  10. There should definitely be a Mighty Taco tie in promotion where 5 TFLs (TacklesForLoss) in a game get you a free TFL (TacoForLunch) with game ticket.
  11. I guess I shouldn't be surprised that the actions of WBC come across as bizarre, but a couple of questions come to mind. 1. Why single out Buffalo as filthy / perverted? Is there something cool happening that I don't know about? 2. I know they're from Buffalo, but if you're picking us as your target, is picketing a GGD show really the best way to go about it? Trying to find sense in the actions of WBC was a big mistake.
  12. Good to see you back, and glad that you're enjoying fatherhood. I agree that it's the best.
  13. Seems to me like he looked and had time, but saw the db coming and decided not to throw (or didn't make a decision in time.) I fault him for the fumble, not the decision not to throw.
  14. Didn't want to start another individual thread on what went wrong yesterday, but it seems pretty obvious to me that without the 3 turnovers (only one of which was EJ's fault) and penalties, yesterday's game would have looked completely different. Sometime those things pile up in a single game, I'm glad they recovered in the second half, and hope they come out on fire when it counts against the Bears.
