PS if you're let go from an employer and you say "no thank you" if they try to hire you back, is it always spite IYO?
I was obviously referring to your clear implication.

I think it's a positive that we signed Haack. Glad he was willing to come in, despite getting cut a couple years back.
Continue sitting on the couch out of spite or get an NFL paycheck? Hmmm, tough call.

Aren't the betting odds currently Bills -2.5, which is basically saying it's a toss-up with a slight edge to the Bills for having home field advantage?
Of course that could change during the week when injury reports come out.
He appears to feel that the NFL is fixed:
During the Miami Week 18 game:
Sound like an objective observer, or like a Bills fan, to you?
I like how he says "told y'all". None of his tweets have any engagement whatsoever: no comments, no retweets, no likes--- who the hell is he tweeting at???
Gaze into the abyss...

I love playing arm chair GM as much as the next guy. Training camp speculation, the draft, free agency, even week to week estimating who will be active or who might be actived on IR…but:
People honestly questioning why Murray > Fournette and second guessing McDermott and Beane’s fathomed allegiance to Murray as some egregious disregard for the uber talented Fournette is a fabricated fan-fiction.
Sometimes we read too far into the tea leaves.
Agreed. I have no problem with Murray. He plays limited snaps and is a complementary player for the most part on the field and appears to be a leader in the lockerroom. The combination of Cook, Murray and Ty Johnson has been successful all year.
Fournette filled in okay when needed, and now they need to move on due to injuries. Maybe he'll be re-signed, maybe not--- but this doesn't really move the needle as a dramatic development.

let me correct 1-3 vs playoff teams
Your larger point still stands, their record is unimpressive and the results are the polar opposite of the Bills.
Oddly enough, the Bengals and Jaguars both beat Buffalo. If the Bills win those 2, the Bengals and Jags would both be 8-9.

Chiefs have beat one team this year with a winning record
That's incorrect. They beat Miami, Cincinnati and Jacksonville.

I think it's as simple as he's never taken a snap in the NFL, never punted or held in a game. It's a huge risk to bring someone like that in such an important game.
This. He cannot make his NFL debut in this spot, especially after missing two whole seasons. There were already questions about his ability to hold due to inexperience.
It's a recipe for disaster in the Divisional Round of the AFC Playoffs against the Kansas City Chiefs, for crying out loud!

Now he leaves himself an out with if they lose, well that's OK because they weren't that good and should have lost. He wants it every way, whatever way that benefits his narrativem
That's all part of his MO. That way, he's never wrong.

based on McDermott’s presser he didn’t sound exceedingly optimistic that Rasul Douglas returns for this game, either. Hoping he’s wrong, or I just totally misinterpreted his response to the question “how close were Dodson and Douglas to playing today?”
Rasul told Tim Graham after the game he felt like he could play but the team held him out. He also said he's playing against the Chiefs.

1. Allen has never lost to the chiefs at arrow head in the regular season
2. Mahomes has never lost to the bills at arrow head in the post season
3. Mahomes has never lost to the bills at high mark in the regular season
Therefore
4. Allen will win next Sunday so that Allen has never lost to the chiefs at High Mark in the post season

I agree with the OP, a fake slide should be a penalty. I'm just not sure why he brought it up now considering Mahomes got away with it way back in Week 1. He should've brought it up then.

Why, he’s actually played pretty well.
Because it speaks to how injured our LB corps is specifically and defense in general.
