  1. "The Houston Chronicle now says the Texans are asking for a first, second, and third-rounder this year plus a first-rounder in 2015 in exchange for Thursday's No. 1 overall pick." http://www.rotoworld.com/headlines/nfl/287134/Report-HOU-lowers-asking-price-for-top-pick?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter
  2. One of Rodak's really annoying habits is posting an article that makes it sound like he is "on the scene" or reporting it first. In actuality, he's just doing a copy/paste from another source such as the AP. He often (perhaps even usually) does not make proper attributions and this is a major no-no. His job is to produce clickbait for ESPN, so I guess he's successful on some level, but he's a hack.
  3. For the record, the Buffalo News had this to say http://bills.buffalo...state-alabama/: "An employee at the jail late this evening would not confirm that (drug charges) to The Buffalo News, saying only that there was no inmate by that name currently in custody."
  4. Jeff Russo ‏@JeffRussoWKBW 57s Cleburne Co.Jail in Alabama has confirmed that #Bills M. Dareus was arrested last night for poss. of a controlled substance and drug para Jeff Russo ‏@JeffRussoWKBW 23s I'm told #Bills Dareus was arrested on interstate 20 in Alabama at around 11pm last night. Was in jail for around 30 minutes.
  5. http://nfldraftdiamo...on-two-charges/ "I spoke with the police station tonight and the two charges are drug paraphernalia and controlled substance." Travis Leder ‏@travisleder 2m A source tells me Marcell Dareus was in possession of synthetic cannabis, or "spice". @wvuatv #bills @buffalobills @nfl
  6. I just realized WVUA tweeted the arrest at SportsCenter's twitter account--- that's kind of douchey.
  7. Travis Leder ‏@travisleder 2m MORE: According to Cleburne Co. Sheriff's Office, Dareus taken in by State Trooper last night. Was released within the hour. @nfl @wvuatv
  8. Jason La Canfora ‏@JasonLaCanfora 5m Continue to hear Lions and Bills exploring options to move up to get a top 3 OL if it makes sense. Otherwise, 1 of the two could take Ebron Adam Caplan ‏@caplannfl 1m Note on #Bills WRs: Coaches love Robert Woods. Think he has a chance to take another big step in his career. Adam Caplan ‏@caplannfl 3m It's consistency on other side that they want.
  9. Retweeted by Joe Buscaglia WVUA-TV ‏@wvuatv 6m @travisleder: BREAKING: Cleburne County, AL Sheriff confirms former UA and current Buffalo #Bills DL Marcell Dareus arrested. @sportscenter
  10. Jason La Canfora ‏@JasonLaCanfora 5m Continue to hear Lions and Bills exploring options to move up to get a top 3 OL if it makes sense. Otherwise, 1 of the two could take Ebron
  11. I agree with this sentiment. For the moment, Whaley and the "new regime" maintain a modicum of credibility. I trust they will move up only for the right player--- Watkins can play right away and have an impact, and I think that's what they'd like to accomplish. If the price is too steep or Watkins isn't gettable, then I trust they will stay at 9 or move back as they did last year. Unless they grossly overpay or seriously botch their pick, they're almost in a win-win position. Again... "for the moment". That can all change quicker than Aaron Maybin's first step.
  12. Yeesh, you're brutal. Maybe don't try so hard to take a negative stance on every single topic.
  13. Ian Rapoport ‏@RapSheet 6 mins From talking with Sammy Watkins today: The #Lions have made it clear to him they are very serious about potentially trading up for him.
  14. You've seen other team's draft boards???
  15. http://www.allsports...or-winning-bid/ All Sports WNY has learned that a four member voting trust was created by Ralph Wilson before his passing and that group will ultimately decide who has submitted the winning bid to purchase the Buffalo Bills. The four voting trustees are Mary Wilson, Ralph Wilson’s widow, Jeff Littman, Bills CFO and Treasurer of the Ralph Wilson Equity Fund, Mary Owen, Executive Vice President of Strategic Planning at the Buffalo Bills and Attorney Eugene Driker. When the final bids are evaluated the new owner must receive at least three of the four votes from the trustees appointed to approve the purchase.
  16. Perhaps you could enlighten us on WTF you're talking about.

  18. When did Massare first mention Martin? Joe Buscaglia has been touting him as a possible target for the Bills at 9 for at least a week, and that's the first place I had seen it.
  19. This much is true. I am more concerned with Quinn's history of meddling and intractability than with Golisano as a principle owner. It's unsettling for him to rear his ugly head for a 3rd time and so soon after we'd rid of him in 2011.
  20. Of course, you prove Rene Robert's point, and it means far from nothing. Quinn was as qualified to run a hockey team as the shlubs here--- but he didn't see it that way and felt the need to interfere. That's why the post lockout era Sabres fell apart and Golisano lost interest in owning a team that couldn't sustain popular appeal or postseason success.
  21. They didn't re-sign Drury because Golisano refused to sign the contract Drury agreed to in December. They didn't intend to re-sign Briere until the 11th hour when it was clear Drury was moving on. Believe what you want. Your assessment of their tenure is wholly inaccurate.
  22. It's a nickname for Golisano--- because he's so cheap he probably steals sugar packets from restaurants. The Sabres were Stanley Cup contenders IN SPITE of Golisano/Quinn. The Drury/Briere fiasco was a direct result of their micromanaging.
  23. In that case, if the Bills nab him it's more likely for Russ' robust Analytics Department. Did you know... Ryan Fitzpatrick went to Harvard?
  24. The Bills were definitely there--- Bills' scouts took him to dinner. http://blogs.buffalobills.com/tag/laurent-duvernay-tardif/
  25. Probably. I think the Steelers, Giants and Bears have infinitely more appeal to a national aduience right now than the Bills.
