#Bills tried to get Brown from the #Eagles last year. Spiller on last year of rookie deal.
Some interesting links from Matt Waldman's Rookie Scouting Profile:

According to http://Spotrac.com , Bryce Brown has two years left on his contract that pays him a TOTAL of $1.1M over those two years.
Brown was on the outs in Philly--- apparently Chris Polk is the backup to McCoy, plus the presence of Sproles makes him expendable. A lot of talent, though, just a bad attitude.
@GeoffMosherCSN: Eagles have traded Bryce Brown to the Bills, per source. #Eagles get a future pick.
Schefter confirms:

Eagles traded RB Bryce Brown to the Buffalo Bills, per league source.
Considering they brought in 6 RBs for visits and none were projected to be UDFAs, I doubt they're looking to wait until after the draft. If they miss out on Andre Williams or Seastrunk in the 5th then maybe they will.
The Bills had him in for a visit. It's not crazy.
Do you think that by using the word "helpless" it's referring to all phases of a fan's life or simply in regards to attitudes toward their favorite football team? I think you just over thought the whole article.
The "helplessness" of watching Dick Jauron draft Aaron Maybin was pretty much the emotional equivalent of watching Drew Bledsoe fumble away our playoff chances Week 17 against Pittsburgh in 2004.
It was already explained: Ralph relinquished day to day control of the franchise to Russ Brandon. I doubt Ralph was dictating from his death bed to Russ that Byrd should be lowballed. Perhaps Littman still holds sway over Russ' mindset, but Ralph's passing is unrelated--- in fact, by all accounts, the Bills were willing to pay up and Byrd simply preferred to move on.
ESPN's Injury Specialist Stephania Bell says Kouandijo is worth the risk and added on twitter that this type of wear would be "common" amongst NFL linemen.

OT Cyrus Kouandjio may have been the most discussed player with regards to injury concern pre-draft. Some wear in outer aspect left knee. He did not miss game or practice since surgery (so last two years); no pain/swelling; some concern over long-term knee health. His situation serves as a reminder that selections are all about perceived value by team: Does talent outweigh medical risk? Yes, if you sampled NFL linemen would be common “@DrRaySolano: @Stephania_ESPN Is it true that kind of wear is common given the position?”
I don't necessarily want any of them, but Carey belongs on a BPA list heading into the 4th round. I'm pretty sure that's the intended nature of this thread.
It certainly sounds crazy, but it's coming from Mary Kay Cabot. After hearing about how great the Browns did yesterday, I admit to succumbing to a little schadenfreude:

per @mortreport, coaches found out Gordon facing suspension 90 mins ago. Source tells me some folks in #Browns org have known for 2 weeks.
Reports vary from a (possible) reduced suspension of 4-6 games to actually getting kicked out of the league for a full year... at which point he can apply for reentry.
Apparently, the Browns knew for 2 weeks but did not inform the coaching staff until 90 minutes ago.
1) Sammy's been in Buffalo since early this morning, 2) I don't think there's any "contractual stuff" with jersey numbers and they can be changed anytime, 3) the Bills may be less inclined to hand out #83 now that Reed has been elected to the Hall of Fame.
Joe Buscaglia implied this morning that it's at least a possibility and maybe even a sleeper. I think it depends on the caliber of OL available. If Carlos Hyde is there at 41 I think he's the guy.
That was a powerful piece by King. Whaley's mentor--- Bill Nunn, a 46 year African American scout who found John Stallworth, LC Greenwood and Donnie Shell among others--- died two days ago. The sense of urgency in Whaley's comments was palpable and it's hard not to respect his guts and conviction.
