  1. Even Greggo gave a teary eyed statement at the podium when he was fired. Then again,I don't recall Mularkey doing so when he quit. Regardless, Marrone leaves a strange legacy behind: @ByTimGraham: When Gailey got fired, he insisted on delivering a good-bye statement and cried. Marrone bolted in the night with a $4 million check.
  2. They're NHL ready--- unfortunately, they comprise a large swath of the active roster. Their relative inexperience will be exposed when such a large group of skaters are playing heavy minutes every night.
  3. What has happened over the past 24 hours is a continuation of what has been reported dating back to last February, regarding organizational infighting and rumors of instability. I'm not sure I can blame the Pegulas for anything just yet. Regarding LaFontaine--- as much as I love him, he is the one with the reputation for being difficult. He left a position with the NY Islanders after a very short period of time before Terry hired him in Buffalo. I have concerns about the Pegulas, but the paranoia and antagonistic natures of both Marrone and LaFontaine long preceded their time working for Terry and Kim.
  4. The team wouldn't tell Marrone who the GM would be? Honestly, there seems to have been manipulative drama surrounding Marrone's tenure since the day he was hired. Peter King @SI_PeterKing · 5m By the way, I don’t blame Marrone for leaving Bills. Had contract opt-out. Exercised it. Made $4m. If I were him, and the team wouldn’t>>> Peter King @SI_PeterKing 5m <<<tell me who GM would be, and wouldn’t give me an extension, and I knew I’d be in some demand, why not opt out?
  5. Luck, but it's not a landslide. He has little help compared to Wilson, but that's certainly not Wilson's fault.
  6. Chris Simms is so god awful... I don't know how I can make it through this entire game with the volume on.
  7. Impotent was the first word that came to mind. Sammy Watkins is wasted in this 'offense".
  8. Ian Rapoport‏@RapSheet5 mins5 minutes ago #Bills hoping to hear where they’ll play #Jets Monday by tonight. Still no decision between Washington and Detroit.
  9. John Wawrow‏@john_wawrow16 mins16 minutes ago I would hold off on speculating where this game is going to be played. It has not been decided yet.
  10. "Pretty sure"? You've jumped the shark, FYI. I don't have a link but you can take my word.
  11. Tim Graham ‏@ByTimGraham 4m4 minutes ago Rumors percolating around league Bills had a trade worked out w/Seattle for Spiller. Well-placed source tells me untrue. Moot point anyway.
  12. I'm certain these opinions are not actually those of Khan's but rather that of the the League's agenda to increase revenue. There will continue to be a public face of League-wide consensus on the stadium issue until one is actually planned and built. It's a foregone conclusion that it will happen anyway.
  13. Belichick was specifically referring to the one handed tip drill on the final drive, FWIW, not necessarily as an overall comparison.
  14. Takeo would be a great choice--- but my number one is Darryl Talley.
  15. That's great and I don't disagree, but neither of these statements negate that he will endear himself to many Buffalonians by doing this---
  16. Marrone would endear himself to many Buffalonians if he took Nolan up on the offer.
  17. The playbook was almost certainly limited to some degree last season, particularly compared to the first two weeks of 2014--- to suggest that it was opened up for Tuel compared to EJ is utterly asinine. It appears more creative and substantive this year due explicitly to EJ's growth and the coaching staff's confidence in him. This should be obvious to LITERALLY ANYONE with a functioning and attached brain stem. You should immediately go sit in the corner for nonsensical rambling. Under absolutely no circumstances should you post again until you're told otherwise.
  18. Pep Hamilton needs to go. Unfortunately, the Colts were able to move the ball on the ground against a porous Eagles run D, so his worst tendencies were only confirmed.
  19. I'm sure somebody knows two lawyers that could take a look at the standings and get them out of first. The Bills will be lucky to not be in last place afterward.
  20. That's all well and good but clearly Anthony Dixon is being used to spell Fred. If FJax is only getting 10 touches to Spiller's 18 then it's a no brainer. Fred is my favorite player, but without his 38 yard run, his fantasy output was worthless in Chicago. As it stands, it was barely flex worthy.
  21. Spiller will probably have more touches and is a greater threat to go the distance. I have both as well (and played them both in Week 1 with Ellington's situation) but I'm not sure I'll play Fred again except out of necessity.
  22. I'm picking the Bills in a survivor pool this week. Ordinarily, I never pick with my "heart" but I'm the opposite of terrified for Sunday. I expect a big fat emotional win.
  23. Does that make the Toronto series Ehrhoff or Leino?
