  1. According to the link, they flew into Boca on Tuesday and had a quick turnaround back to Buffalo out of the same airport. So, more than likely, yes.
  2. Yes, I know. That was my response in the original thread when the link was first posted. My point is, they flew into the same Boca Raton airport on Tuesday when they picked up Clay.
  3. To refer back to the Pegula jet flight tracker thread which was merged into this one: according to the above link, Pegula's jet touched down in Boca Raton at 3pm on Tuesday, which jibes with reports that the Bills arrived in Florida to pick up Clay just as free agency opened. It would be reasonable to expect some kind of news within the next hour or so considering the jet's current flight is arriving right about now at 5:30.
  4. Yes, but he still knew nothing about the Bills and offered zero insight--- which was probably also true of the other AFC East teams.
  5. Omar Kelly doesn't have "sources", according to many Dolphins fans and WGR's Sal Capaccio (he lived in Southern Florida for many years), amongst others. He's just a **** stirrer, like Jerry Sullivan. Whenever there is inside information to what the Miami Dolphins are planning, Omar Kelly is usually the last to know.
  6. The NFL knows that fans will consume any and all content pertaining to their favorite teams. Reporters like Chris Brown are employed by every team to write articles for no other reason than to generate traffic to their website. That's it. It's just another opportunity to read opinions, player/coach interviews, stat analysis, etc and it's all free. It increases the chances fans will buy merchandise and tickets, but the content remains free. I don't think anyone is pretending that Chris Brown is challenging Woodward and Bernstein for breaking stories.
  7. KBCT is Boca Raton. Of course, the Pegulas live there.
  8. FWIW, if you believe Joe Chenelly is wired in to someone at OBD, it sounds like it's still a possibility that Spikes is re-signed once the dust settles on Clay, OG, etc: @jchenelly: Good questio, @rmarx188. @BrandonSpikes51 wants to return. The front office has a lot of things to sort out still. #Patience
  9. I'm not sure it's handcuffing them. Whaley has said publicly that they have that option in their back pocket. If they need to restructure, they will. They won't until there's an actual need.
  10. Yeah, it surprised me how often he lowers his shoulder and initiates contact--- and wins. It makes sense why Minnesota used him so often with traditional RB handoffs out of the backfield; he can handle it.
  11. Despite his stellar year in 2014, Murray is very underrated. So many are quick to credit the Dallas offensive line for his production last season, but his efficiency over the duration of his career has remained steady. He was more or less as good in 2014 as he's ever been, but several contributing factors (including improved O-line play, health, etc) lead to his dominant statistics. Having said that, despite the fact Murray is an excellent RB, McCoy is the superior talent. I'd welcome either on the Bills from a talent perspective, but if I could choose I'd choose LeSean.
  12. According to John Murphy, the NFL prohibits teams from announcing signings after 4pm on weekdays. Expect it to be official sometine Monday morning.
  13. I don't hate Sully or WGR... in fact, I don't actually hate Rodak, but Rodak is fairly crummy at his job. He's not at all a reporter and his writing is mostly just copy and paste. If he weren't a Pats guy, no one here would pay much attention to him except to occasionally recognize his bland inability.
  14. No, I'm aware of all that, I didn't clarify what I meanr. I was only referring to "negative" comments about Taylor not developing. It's been used as shorthand in a few articles but there's no evidence (that I've seen) suggesting Harbaugh was actually disappointed in his overall development.
  15. I doubt the Bills would alter their offer based on a news report.
  16. Tim Graham covered the Dolphins for a Miami newspaper for a few years after he left his first stint at the Buffalo News. The way he worded the tweet, it could be from Fins sources and not necessarily the Bills, fwiw.
  17. The only quotes I've seen regarding Harbaugh's opinion of Taylor were along the lines of disappointment that he didn't play better in the limited game opportunities that he had. Of course, the key word is "limited", because he barely had any opportunities.
  18. My take on this has become that it's just a matter of time before Clay is a Bill. The Dolphins will make it as difficult as possible for the Bills, who will patiently wait. The Bills are taking their time with the offer sheet because Miami is forcing their hand to up the offer and the Bills will structure the offer to match Miami's available space. That could explain the two teams "trading offers", which was reported earlier. It took awhile for me to realize this is a showdown between Rex and his former boss in Mike Tannenbaum.
  19. Schefter tweeted that the Bills and Harvin "reached agreement", not signed--- however, all his tweets regarding FA signings use some variation of the phrase "reached agreement".
  20. Allegedly, Omar Kelly reported the Dolphins are close to extending Clay, but where did he say this? It's not on Twitter and he's not a tv reporter.
  21. Why was there not a peep about the 49ers interest in Harvin until after its announced the Bills have signed him? FFS
  22. @BrandonSpikes51: HAM MERCY PERCY WITH THE #BilllsMafia !!! U GONNA LOVE IT GATOR BOI !! @Percy_Harvin ##GatorNation #Gatorgreat #GoGators 🐊🐊🐊🐊
  23. Clay is supposed to pick it up at the border crossing as he enters Canada.
  24. Ian Rapoport‏@RapSheet5 mins5 minutes ago When the #Dolphins traded for Kenny Stills, WR Mike Wallace went on the trading blocks. They’ve explored this option before, doing it now.
  25. No, I think it was relatively painless.
