  1. Burrow doesn’t throw interceptions, you’re taking his passes out of context.
  2. I do know the feeling despite my stance. It’s unprecedented for a linebacker sized QB to be able to make the throws he makes and take off running the way he does. He’s truly a unicorn and I don’t think I’ll ever get used to it.
  3. Which QBs have had their careers derailed due to hits they’ve taken while running? I think the concern is somewhat overblown due to old biases against running QBs. He isn’t slamming into the line 20-30 times per game, he’s taking off maybe 5-10 times.
  4. Cam washed out due to his shoulder injury, which occurred while he was attempting a pass in the pocket. I agree with the OP, I’m beyond tired of all the scolding.
  5. They were much more subdued for Thursday’s postgame but they mostly blamed Bellichick, even taking potshots at Allen for losing a fumble: “it’s what he does.” I think that rush by Uche will force a turnover against a lot of QBs.
  6. Can anyone point to a specific report where the Bills directly acknowledged a sprain/partial tear? Rapaport mentioned it but was vague and Chris Mortenson only said the team was concerned with the ulnar nerve.
  7. "An MD" who personally examined JA17 or otherwise discussed his status with someone with direct knowledge?
  8. They’re almost certainly elevating someone, right? Hitting 4pm without the announcement isn’t surprising, most teams moves haven’t been announced yet, I’ve only seen the Bears (and now the Titans and Saints).
  9. There's still a 'Doubtful' designation. 'Probable' is the designation that went away.

  11. One of the things that really made me sad about how this game ended was that it felt like I’d be unable to rewatch the highlights and appreciate the way they kept clawing back. I decided not to let that happen and have rewatched the 2nd half a few times but I still prefer to not watch the final :13 or OT because eff’em. Go Bills.
  12. Sure, that would change the equation somewhat but that’s not what happened here. Every team is under the same parameters during the “legal tampering” period and understands the potential consequences of handshake agreements. if it’s anyone’s fault, it’s Washington. In addition to not offering McKissic a contract they seemingly lied to Matt Ionnaidis’ agent and also waited as late as possible to release a bunch of players to clear space. Factoring in the Wentz trade, everything they’ve done thus far is bush league.
  13. I found it odd when I heard Washington was disappointed they couldn’t match considering nothing would be official until 4pm today. It still surprises me a bit but it isn’t controversial in my eyes. I like McKissic and felt he’d be an excellent fit, but there are other options.
  14. Why not? He did it in Minnesota, with success.
  15. I don't doubt that Jets fans feel that way about Freeman as you posted--- any perceived vitriol in my post is reserved for their (Jets fans) stupidity and certainly for Moran. What I posted regarding Freeman's byline is incontrovertibly true, regardless of whether or not he lied about graduating from the University of Delaware 11 years ago, and Moran's credentials fall woefully short. I'm not sure what the point of a wager would be.
  16. Pat Moran's resume would need a 10 foot ladder to sniff Mike Freeman's resume's farts--- from Wikipedia: "Mike Freeman is a columnist for Bleacher Report. He has previously written for the New York Times, Washington Post, Dallas Morning News, Boston Globe and Florida Times-Union and CBSSports.com. He is also the author of five books, including a biography on Florida State football coach Bobby Bowden. His book ESPN: The Uncensored History, which alleged sexual harassment, drug use and gambling, was the first critical study of ESPN.[1][2]"
  17. I wasn't a fan of Jay Leno's Tonight Show, but I don't doubt for a second that he's missed. "Not understanding" why the immensely popular and successful Jon Stewart will be missed upon retirement from the Daily Show is a pretty big red flag that something else is at play than comedy criticism--- especially when it comes from a poster known for loudly espousing conservative political takes when unnecessary.
  18. !@#$ him.
