  1. Yeah, I don’t get the hate. He was the first Bill I recall speaking up on behalf of Josh Allen during his rookie year and he wrote a really beautiful send off in the Player’s Tribune when he left Buffalo.
  2. I do appreciate the premise of this thread: ”Oh, you thought a thing? Well, another guy doesn’t.”
  3. This makes sense but it isn't clear to the viewing audience or anyone in the stadium. Even the announcers are confused. Maybe displaying the play clock in tenths of a second would provide clarity.
  4. Which is unfortunate because he isn't dimwitted outside of PBP, he's a relatively smart and insightful broadcaster when discussing the Bills in a different context. It just doesn't rise to the surface in the moment.
  5. At the very least, the official tasked with observing the play clock has a buzzer so they don't need to eyeball both the clock and the snap.
  6. I'll always have a soft spot for Murph, he's been involved in Bills broadcasts my entire life! His voice is as inextricably linked to Buffalo Bills football as anything, as far as I'm concerned. HOWEVER--- I haven't been a big fan of his PBP. I can't really think of a single memorable call since he took over for Van 20 years ago (although, arguably, it's been slim pickings until the past 5 years!).
  7. The first call I heard from Brown was Nyheim Hines' opening KO Return TD against the Pats last week and he referred to it as "the first play from scrimmage". That's clearly just an error from someone not accustomed to calling PBP but I've noticed enough similar flubs in the various clips I've heard that it's distracting albeit forgivable seeing that he's a fill-in. What's not forgivable are the histrionics. Again, I don't believe he has any PBP experience prior to this fill-in stint so I can't hold it against him (he's doing an admirable job considering the circumstances), but I haven't heard anything that warrants fulltime consideration.
  8. He’d better if he wants to clean up all these mistakes!
  9. Absolutely, it’s arguably statistically insignificant considering team point totals are wildly out of proportion today compared to 10, 20 or 30 years ago.
  10. These Bills rise to the occasion, especially as they’ve grown mentally tougher and more resilient with more big game experience. I’m expecting a much more focused effort but going forward, the margin of error thins each week.
  11. It’s interesting to point out the Bills and Chiefs are both 14-3 right now. I wonder if a “reseeding” was considered? As in, KC gets the WildCard bye but the Bills would be reseeded as 1 by beating Miami.
  12. The only way to fix this is to sign Josh Rosen, he should’ve been the pick in 2018. Right this wrong, Beane!
  13. Who are you going to believe, a random Bengals fan or your lying eyes?
  14. Joe Burrow is too calm, cool and collected for the refs to throw that flag.
  15. Clearly you haven’t read Professor Caesar’s unbiased analysis. If you were versed in science or knowledgeable about football you would understand. Please wait for the Prof to post the video and prepare for reprogramming.
  16. Have another cold one, Ric!
  17. Caesar is here to lecture us into submission because we “don’t know ball”, he isn’t here to consider the facts.
  18. I’m saying it shouldn’t be surprising that Bills fans are talking up the Bills, regardless.
  19. I think the suggestion is we are Bills fans talking up the Buffalo Bills on a Bills message board.
  20. This is ridiculous, Romo loves Allen—- he called him “Mr. January” and waxes poetic about how great he is every chance. If he’s biased in any way it’s in how he plays up both teams whether warranted or not out of necessity.
