Equally remarkable is that he's still only just over halfway to Jerry Rice's total of 1,549.

Is it true he had a fever before the game? It's possible he was off due to being sick.

It's haunting that the refs' ineptitude basically threatens to swing any close game.

Don’t hold your breath on accountability. ESPN has been busy making excuses since it happened.
Scott Van Pelt pushed back hard against officiating analyst John Parry when Parry blamed Taylor Decker during ESPN's post-game discussion.

"This season, Cook ranks 11th in the entire league in carries (208), and only three players on the Bills roster have been targeted more; as a result, he's become Buffalo's first 1,000-yard rusher since 2017, while his 1,471 scrimmage yards rank fourth in the NFL."
Kinda amazing. And shows you how much this is a passing league when Cook — who doesn't appear to be carrying the ball a ton — is top 11th in the league in carries.
11th in carries but 3rd in rushing yards. Lookie, lookie, here comes Cook-ie!

Flacco has turned the ball over 9 times in 5 games. I'm not saying that disqualifies him, but that's a lot.

The reason the Bills run Allen inside the redzone is because he’s the greatest redzone threat in the NFL, every time the Bills hand it off down there it’s a win for the opposing team.
Every other QB in the NFL isn’t the best option for their team down in the redzone where it’s tight and congested because those QBs aren’t 6’5 250lbs with wheels.
Naturally, so why would it be a negative for his candidacy? That's what's being argued.

One argument against Allen's MVP candidacy I've heard in this very thread is that his rushing TDs shouldn't hold much merit because it isn't a QB stat and other teams have RBs that score rushing TDs. This is a ridiculous assertion--- the MVP award is not a "best QB" award, regardless if it's typically given to a QB. Should McCaffrey and Mostert get dinged because they've scored rushing TDs that could have instead been scored by QBs or even other RBs? What are we doing here, is he a football player or not?
Then again, one brilliant assertion I read here the other day is that "MULTIPLE players" would need to "literally die" for Allen to be considered. The mind boggles, my dudes.

As good as Flacco is playing, what is he coming back from besides the waiver wire?
