Bills fan since 87

Football season is here (sort of) and im psyched. Per the norm I go nuts watching old highlights and reading old stats this time of year. Came across this gem from 1990. It's the game where we scored 20 pts in 77 seconds vs Denver. I remember Denver was about to kick the FG to go up 24-9 (a 3 score deficit in those days) when my dad went to take a shower before work. He missed it all. The entire rest of the season when the Bills were down I'd tell him to leave the room. I was 14 at the time so he played along. Anyway a great memory from back in the day. Enjoy:

Good topic OP. Honestly I think I'd be ok with 3-5 and would expect 8-8 at least depending on how the qb situation plays out. Funny how finally breaking the drought last year would make men content with a .500 season so long as things appear headed in the right direction.

It would still be heard over the regular radio. Cant hurt to get the word out. Some of us jump back and forth between the radio and the app (or as of recently, lack there of)

Has anyone tried calling the show to mention it? I realize it is not something they control but I'm sure they can get the word out to those who do. If it becomes an on air topic I'm sure others would chime in so they would know just how bad it has been. Of course it might be screened as they'd probably not be advised to discuss any negativity about radio.com.

I went to oneBuffalo to get the tickets for the Sunday July 29th practice and filled out the form. It said the submission was accepted but that's it. I understand the tix will be texted to me but when, and was I in time to get any? A confirmation that I will get them, or if I was too late, would be nice.

Agreed. So much of those types of threads turn gibberish, insult wars and bad jokes with actual good content mixed in....of course that has seemed to happen with this thread after 15 posts, sooo....?

There were a couple ugly KC losses in there too at Arrowhead, one was 33-6 I believe. Got em back in the playoffs that year though.

I was 24 years old the last time I got to experience a Bills playoff game. I'm 41, going on 42 now. So much has happened for so many over that horrible drought. But like all the loyal Bills fans my love for watching MY team every sunday never wavered. No matter how many people switched from Rams fans, to Patriot fans, to Steelers fans and back to the Patriots....we never wavered. No matter how frustrated we became with the carousel of coaches and GMs...We never wavered. No matter how many times we were told "the Bills suck." We never wavered. Always proud to wear our colors. No matter today's outcome the longest playoff drought in American sports is finally, mercifully over. Today is OUR day! I raise my glass to you all. Lets keep this ride going, beat Jacksonville and GO BILLS!

with 20 seconds to go they could have run a draw play and spiked the ball with about 3 seconds to go. That would have done it, no throw back.

The stats are a bit deceiving. Jax runs the ball FAR more than even the second top running team.
