Good point. I guess part of the problem is that no two people have the same definition of what a No. 1 is. Is it production? Salary? Position? Leadership qualities?
For example, Steve Smith, Stevie Johnson and Victor Cruz are on your team. Who's the No. 1? They're basically all the same second-level receiver, in terms of stats. But they're all good. I'd consider them all No. 1s. But then you see the Falcons, who have three receivers who have Johnson's receptions or higher. Julio Jones would be the Bills' No. 1, without question, it seems.
