More celebrity owners for My Yami
Cookiemonster replied to DrFishfinder's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Seems everybody wants a piece of the Fish. I can just see it now at the Oscars, "Hi, how have you been, what's new?" "Well I am now a minority owner of the Miami Dolphins" "me too", "me too" "really"? "me too" Let me see now, a group of Celebrities can own an NFL franchise, but not a group of fans? WTF. Geeesh! -
Saturday's Game Against Pittsburgh Important
Cookiemonster replied to Kenwick's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I am going to the game, so I will have a full report on your desk, first thing Monday morning. I don't think that this game is as important as you make it out to be, but I think that the original poster does make a point, our first units have to show some mettle, for confidence sake. Go Bills. -

Stallworth suspended for full '09 season

Two words, my man, contrbutory negligence! But the 3gamer for Lynch is a joke. -
We need to keep our defense conditioned. Communication is difficult enough without a huddle. Our Offense Lineman can Maintain their low center of gravity easier. It will be more difficult for Dick to call (waste) a timeout. We can let Trent manage the game, and keep Dick away from any real difficult decisions. Maybe less commercials, they can never get them all in now, can they? Less panning of the cameras over to has beens in the stands, won't be time for that sh--. Less panning of the cameras over to the opposing coach, especially at New England Games. New England's video guy will really be humping now. More plays of ours to film. That should keep him busy. No time for panning of the Cheerleaders on the sideline.............Hey wait a minute here now. I could go on.

Agreed, that was a busted play.

I can't belive you would say that Rico, especially with that mop that you are sporting.

Yes, He stood out, and looked very aggresive to me. Can't have enough of these type players, I expect immediate returns from him on Special Teams, maybe more.

Ralph silenced some posters yesterday
Cookiemonster replied to Albany,n.y.'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Coper, I didn't think about that, but that is it, they did not want to lose the balls, now they just put up the net, they are still cheap bastards. But I too was a little confused by Ralph's tale, and it's relation to his overall speech. Makes sense now. Somethings never change. -
Anyone notice the velocity
Cookiemonster replied to Buffalo Mike1's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
IMO, Not a big deal, yeah there was pressure, and whether or not Levitre being pushed back into caused/contributed to the int., I saw enough good from Trent to feel pretty good about our chances, especially for the first, and very early preseason game. -
Is Wood that good or is Stroud slipping?
Cookiemonster replied to Marv-a-licious's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Overall, I agree, but I do think that at least on some of their match-ups, Stroud is really trying hard, I mean there is such a thing as pride. So, yeah,IMO, Wood is that good, and I don't think that Strod is slipping any. -
I have gone to the camp at Fredonia at least a couple of times in the past, and had a blast. One year for sure was '88, I still have a pennant with, if not every single camp participant, damn near. All of these obtained very easily at random times throughout the day, before the morning session, after, where ever you could catch a player, they almost never refused. I had a video camera, and back then that looked like a TV station one, very big. I remember Jim Haslett yelling at me to shut the f'n camera off, and I initially didn't hear him, so he yelled at me louder, after which I immediatley shut it off, and started to wrap it up, when I noticed that he kind of bumped a running back walking next to him, and they both started laughing. Obviosly he was messin with me, but considereing his reputation, I wasn't taking any chances. I observed Marv Levy do 100, or pretty close to that, push-ups, I have that on film. After finishing he got an ovation from the 20 or so people standing around, and he turned, tipped his hat, and bowed. That blew my mind, he must have been in his 60's then. I caught Andre Reed, who was about 100 yards away from me walking towards his dorm after one practice, and I yelled "hey Andre", he immediatley turned and walked straight back to me, and maybe one or two other people, and started signing. Kent Hull was another that kind of made an impression on me with his accessibilty to fans. Some players just get it. I haven't been to Rochester, so hard to compare, but I can't imagine it being any better than Fredonia, even with all of the amenities, and high tech gadgetry.

Gotta agree with you here, he pinballs all over the dam field on returns, Mcgee kinda returns kicks like that too. Parrish also gives you unbelivible thrills every time he touches the ball, which has to be more.

Not an ideal situation for T.O.?

OMG, This guy looks like he could go out there and play without a helmet or pads, and still dominate, as a matter of fact his friggin head looks like a helmet!

If Trent Has A Bad Year....
Cookiemonster replied to Canadian Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Come on red dog, my whole post centers around comparing Trent to Big Ben, at this point in their respective careers, and you have the audacity to ask who is BB. Big Ben, of course. Other wise known as Ben Ruthllisberger, Ben Raplisberger, Ben Toothlisberger, pick your poison. Bill Bellyache, that is an f ng good one! -
If Trent Has A Bad Year....
Cookiemonster replied to Canadian Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
IMHO Trent does not get a flyer if he stinks up the joint this year, not hoping for, or expecting it, but I really belive that he will have no excuses. You look at Big Ben Stalklisburger, he had a pitiful OL to start the year last season, but in spite of this, he held that team together, he was constantly pressured, harrased, and sacked, especially the first half of the season, and he basically carried that OL, until they came together and started to jell a little in the second half. He basically willed them to a successful season with his ability to feel pressure, move around a bit, shake off a 300+# tackler, and keep the chains moving. I think it is fair to Compare him to BB at this point in his career. He may never be as good as BB, but he certainly has the weapons around him offensively that he had, better run game, more recieving weapons, etc...etc...No excuses this year. The only thing is, is that BB has proven he is more durable than Trent, and that is the one area that he is vulnerable at, let's hope his off-season conditioning program helps him with that, but you can't do any type of training that can prepare you for a concussion, or your head being slammed to the turf. With that being said, I think that it is entirely possible that TE has agood year, maybe even a Monster Year, and we still could be outside looking in. Who do we blame then? That might be the bigger quetion. -

Vick reinstated on conditional basis
Cookiemonster replied to QB Bills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Skoob, glad you liked, you provide me with LOL's too. Seriously though, your petitioning is starting to sway my thinking, why would it be so bad, we would have added security for the glove wearing Mary, and a real wild card there, we could really keep defenses off balance. As far as punishment goes, he paid his debt to society. We could use the added publicity, probably generate more fan interest as well, the kind Ralph likes, regional, but also very much nationally. It might just be the fire that needs set under Trent's butt. Sorry, I forgot, that the mention of Trent's butt really sends you in to a tizzy. -
Exactly, wasn't it like over 200 yds. rec.? No one can really question this guys heart. His head? That's a whole nother story. It's nice to know that he can give you that type of effort, and he really does give you that consistently, oh, he may drop some, but he more than makes up for it. T.O. is good, and don't going editing that to god, just yet. Anyways, Joe Ferguson
