While that statement may hold true, it is also worth noting that if a few plays had gone our way during the 2015 or 2016 seasons, we would have made the playoffs with Rex and he wouldn't have been fired. Similarly, if a few plays had not gone our way in 2017, Allen would have been the only reason we made it to the playoffs.
