Maybe he's just no McGee. There is a chance he's not good, you know.
-
Hahahahaha. JP threw those passes to Hardy and made great looks (just like TE) and did what I thought was perfect for a backup, and you still complain. You're classic buddy.
-
No. You're an idiot, possibly retarded. Anyway I slice it? Try 158 QB rating, and putting the team in a position to win. What happened after that? The defense didn't get off the field. Hamden is a 3rd stringer NFL Europa loser who is only on the team because he is friends with TE and played halfway decent in garbage time of a preseason game. Take a minute and realize how irrational all you fans are. You freak out after sacks and blame JP, even though, ironically, he was only really sacked in situations in garbage time when they KNEW we were passing, and deliberately brought all they had.
-
Losman looked great in the first half. You're an idiot. Bitching about Losman, pretending his poor play in garbage time cost us the game only makes me lose absolutely all my respect for you're ability to assess football games.
-
Did you not watch him after the Edwards TD? How about the Rushing TD? Last week people were praising Edwards for not seeming to mind when he threw a pick. They said it was whats great about him. I'm sick of you're hatred for this guy just because you don't like him. He's on the Bills. You're seriously running out of excuses as to why he's not a great backup QB. Aww, I'm going to whine because he smiled after an interception. Waa! Waa! Play Hamden. You're all f*cking children.
-
I can't agree more. JP did MUCH MORE than most backups in the first half. He looked VERY prepared. I'm not hte biggest JP supporter, but he looked fine. Our defense did not, and therefore we lost.
-
You're an idiot. I hope you're joking, because I truly think you're mentally challenged.
-
If you think JP lost this game...you're an idiot. I hate using that word, but its true. JP Losman made great plays in the first half, and after he ran in that TD to go down by 7 he had the team pumped. He was 5/6 with a 151 QB rating, and the coaching staff chose to RUN THE BALL. They didn't trust JP, he got cold, we had to settle for a FG, and the defense promptly lost us the game. Blame the coaches for not letting JP "lose or win" this game if you're going to blame everyone. They deliberately chose to run 3 and out to Lynch and we proceeded to lose the game because of this. If you blame the game on JP you're just a sad depressed fan who can't get over the benching of Flutie, and hates the world when their fav QB isn't starting.

I joined this board. And we've yet to lose. Edit: Unfortunately however, in being superstitious you've forgotten the cardinal rule: Not to discuss your superstitions. Now we'll lose tomorrow, and it's all you and your threads fault. I think you should save yourself and others (the WNY region precisely) while you have the chance and delete this thread.

Getting your franchise WR out of the way is imperative to this team. Having done that, you can debate and bicker between apples and oranges, but even if you want to classify Evans as a strictly, "deep threat", that's fine with me. He has proven enough to me. Our game plan doesn't revolve around him, and that might seem unfortunate to all of you naysayers (and by all I think I'm speaking to only StupidNation), but let's be real here, most of these unbelievable stats you dream of come in situations I am glad to not have to bare: With Roy Williams. Yeah, he's all over the place, makes great plays. There is a reason for his stats. His team is often down, they're a pass-happy Martzonian who happens to have a WR tandem straight out of an ALL-MADDEN 96 team. With Randy Moss, you have a special case where the plays being called were a direct result of the talent level of the quarterback and the mentality of the coaching staff (ie, run up the score at all costs). Without Brady, Moss will collapse. With Steve Smith and the Panthers, you have a team that probably uses their undersized, gritty WR to perfection. So if there is a bar that I want Evans to reach, that's probably it. But again, we have such a relaxed, balanced offensive style that we're TRYING to maintain, that it seems comical to imagine Evans ever really having 10+ catches in a game. I just re-read my post and don't know why I rambled for so long, especially since it made little sense...I apologize and next time I'll simply post: "Evans is worth the money"

Kurt Warner walks on water (post two)
murra replied to RLflutie7's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So should we not compare say Gale Sayers or Terrel Davis to the likes of Emmit Smith because they didn't play nearly as many games? -
IMO the Wall of fame itself should go down. Do we really think that we're producing one worthy member each year? That's stupid, and it loses its credibility. The point of those things are mostly to show the crowd and the current team the accomplishments of your franchise...I think a few Kelly, Bruce, OJ posters plastered outside and around the stadium would do just fine...

A Lot Of People Probably Already Know This
murra replied to Steely Dan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Steely Dan, are you seriously responding to each individual person's comments? Let it go bro...No hard feelings, I'm not trying to make you feel bad or anything, we're all Bills fans here...It was just everyone's natural reaction I think to laugh because it was just sort of common knowledge. -
CONTEST Bill's net offensive total yards vs Ariz.

A Lot Of People Probably Already Know This
murra replied to Steely Dan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No, I swear he said he would change it. Oh...and not to be an ass, ...but Steely Dan, if you didn't know something as blatant as the fact that our coach played professional football, it's better next time to keep it inside, rather than flaunting it by starting a thread on a forum inhabited by strictly die-hard bills fans. That is, unless you like being made fun of. -
Sorry, I guess I don't take it lightly when ignorant steelers fan's think that Evans isn't a top 10 receiver.
-
I was all pumped to check out our salary cap stats and everything, so I went over to askthecommish.com, only to read this disappointing message board which insults our team for paying Evans, and insults Evans. I can't believe this is the perception of Evans and the Bills around the league.

Kurt Warner walks on water (post two)
murra replied to RLflutie7's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Name 9 better. Right now. -
Prior to the Rams game, USA Today actually said that we will be seeing reps between Jackson, McKelvin, and Reed returning punts. I don't have it anymore, but I promise you it said that.

Cards WR Boldin Likely Out Sunday
murra replied to truth on hold's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That's fine. After having three concussions in hockey, after the first one, I was seriously ill for about three days, but after that my body hopped up to it, and I felt 100%. It progressively gets worse, but honestly, if it's his first concussion, and he's back to normal, I can't say that waiting does anything at all. Then again many doctors prefer to wait, but that could be to save their own ass, or because it's not the athlete's first one. All I know is that he probably will be able to play, and if he's 100%, I hope he does. -
Cards WR Boldin Likely Out Sunday
murra replied to truth on hold's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If he is healthy to play, I WANT him to play. For the same reason I'm sorry Brady went down. I want to play the best, to beat the best. It's annoying to hear "oh well they beat a Boldin-less Cardinals squad". I hope he's ready to go so he can get hit again, and the Cards can be put in their place. People who disagree with this philosophy are like Dallas Stars fans that are happy they won a cup illegitimately (maybe a little bit of an exaggeration, but still not far off).
